New Gear 2 owner and kind of feeling like it's a bit too masculine for my taste. I know the population is small.... but I was hoping to see some pics of the Gear 2's owned by women. How are you accessorizing your Gear 2? Band recommendations for women? Being so thick... I kind of feel like a steel band would make it look even more masculine. Looking forward to hearing and seeing your thoughts.

I wasn't really feeling the watch band that comes stock, so I went out and got a new band. Not sure if it makes it more masculine or not... but this is what I went with. I like the fact that it slims down towards the latch and isn't the same thickness throughout.

I also like that the band is two-toned. The outer edges are brushed and the inside is shiny.

It'll do for now until I find something better that I like.

Bad news about the new band.... turns out I can't attach the charging dock because the metal piece that is attaching the band is in the way. :(
Something to keep an eye out for with watch bands that aren't exactly 22mm. They come with different size end pieces ranging from 18mm to 22mm.

I've never seen a band with those extra pieces on the ends. Where did you get it and does it have a special name?

Went to a local watch store and found it there. I think its similar to the China/Hong Kong ebay bands. No brand name.

I went to a jeweler store today that sold watch bands also and looked through a catalog they had and it wasn't uncommon for bands to have that type of attachment at the end. I think it makes the bands more universal... so they can be used on round or straight end watches.

Here's another example I found on ebay.

Here's a pic of it taken apart.
