Welcome to x91WGx's Gingerbread Edition ROM!

Hey all!
This ROM is currently based on CyanogenMod7 nightly build 1.08, and RC1.
I will update it as CyanogenMod7 gets updated, and some other updates inbetween.
As I said, it's based on CyanogenMod7, but has been thoroughly modded by me.
It probably holds the same bugs as the official CyanogenMod7, but I will do what I can when you find any.
Any requests for applications, widgets or anything to be put in the ROM can be posted here!
I will review any requests and see if I put them in.

The ROM currently holds:
- Latest VorkKernel by Benee & Kiljacken
- Libsqlite.so patch by Benee
- Quicker GPS fix in Europe
- Updated BusyBox (1.19)
- Customized framework (icons, battery percentage, notifications tab)
- The following apps:
Terminal Emulator, Browser, Calculator,
Calendar, Camera, Contacts, Desk Clock,
Email, File Manager, Gallery 3D,
Google Sync, Gingerbread Keyboard,
ADW Launcher, MIUI Music, MMS,
Pimp My CPU 2.8, Rom Manager,
Sound Recorder, Spare Parts,
SuperUser, Market, VoiceDialer,
Google Talk, Volume+.

Installation instructions:
0. Boot into recovery
1. Wipe Data/Factory Reset when coming from stock/another custom ROM! not needed when coming from an earlier version of this ROM
2. Install zip from SDcard >> Choose zip from SDcard >> select the ROM.zip file
3. Let it install, when done, reboot!

is it for o2x or g2x? Would be nice to know incase someone doesnt catch that and accidentally brick their phones.

Updated again! :)
New version out is v1.2.4, changes being:

- New statusbar icons
- Notification tab customized
- Default wallpaper changed
- PimpMyCPU 2.7 added

Is it just me or..........

I'm always having problems connecting to Wifi when i use a CM7 based Rom :confused:

Anyone?

You should post that in the official CM7 thread, see if anyone has the same problem!
I have no problems with WiFi with my ROM.. Or any CM7 ROM at that.

I'm currently running this rom. Installed it last night and this morning i came to the discovery thats the speakers don't work. (alarm was vibrating :p).

Also having some difficulties with 3G. Connection is really slow although with previous roms it was full speed at the location.

Rom feels verry snappy and fast. Keep up the good work!

v1.3 is out: updated to CM7 nightly .16!

@rntvndrlst: That's a CM7 problem, the ringtones don't always work. It's not just a problem in my ROM, it's in all of CM7, sadly. But they should get it fixed soon!

Same bug of CM7 11/13/15/16 => for my 128 Kb Vodafone Sim, contacts are vanished... And there's no way to import VCF' file contacts saved on internal SD :(

Backup your contacts with your google account on a build other than cm7 and then your contacts will automatically be diaplayed in cm7, no?

Nein !!! I cannot log in in my gmail account !!!

I'm trying... Contacts, account, use own, LOGIN + PASSWORD, next...

AND HERE IT ASKS ME DOMAIN ?! :confused::confused:

So, I insert GMAIL/LOGIN but it's not correct in every case :eek:

I don't have the phone myself yet, but normally you just have to go to 'accounts and sync' in settings and there enter your google account information. Contacts will then automatically be synchronized.

@Edward0504, new host is online: DropBox

@PYCON, go to settings -> Accounts and sync -> Add account -> Google
And there you can add a Google account to sync your contacts :)

    Internet connection on my pc is not working, for some reason.. But as soon as it is working again I'll upload two ROMs, one based on the nightly .60 and one based on RC1, so you can choose between a nightly and a RC based ROM :)

    - v6.0.0: Based on CM7 nightly .60
    - vRC1: Based on CM7 RC1

    EDIT: v6.0.0 and vRC1 are now online! Downloadable through AndBuddy & MultiUpload.
    Next release will include the VorkKernel updated to version 20110627 (finally..!) :D

    I managed to find time on my friends pc to squeeze in a little update..
    Nothing more than all the same updated to nightly 1.08, but it's a start!

    My Data (HSDPA) is enabled, sync is disabled (my Hometown receives best radio reception)

    Baseband is the firmware for the radio chip. This firmware is interfaced by the OS using the RIL, the RIL translates the requests by Android to commands the baseband can understand.
