i test but with version 4 of this rom and the rom dont boot, try many times and ways and don't work for me..when i flash nAa 11 the rom work..btw, i prefer ALFS kernel too..MUCH PERFORMANCE
@Dawoods, mind to share the keyboard apk? I'm afraid if I googled I'll get the wrong one!

EDIT : Nevermind, I googled it and I'm sure about it ...the size is 4.35mb.
The name is 'Low resolution version for Android 1.6 and up' ...
EDIT 2 : I installed HTC_IME_lo apk and clicker apk. When I change setting to use HTC ime keyboard I had FC!!! How to solve this?

EDIT : yes, that is right. I use HTC IME keyboard Low 1.6. you can set button pixel size, so it will fit with our finger.

I'm using our rom is best. Battery life is strong. It will be great if you can in future add more perfomance especially 2d

Starting with stock kernel and etc.
1. Root
2. BusyBox
3. Flashing baseband 015 (I dont know why but ...)
4. I tried with and without ROM (i have read somewhere that for nAa kernel i must have CM7 ROM so I flashed
5. Flashing this nAa -> http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1350484
And when i MUST flash the rom there is the problem. When i turn on the phone its vribrating for a part of second then the screen light on and after 1-2 seconds ONLY BLACK SCREEN. There is the same problem when I'm flashing and Alfs
People please i REALLY need this ROM cuz one my friend have it and its AWESOME

Just a suggestion...
Have you done FULL WIPE (for me I also wipe all cache data including Dalvik's and battery) Anyway try using latest flasher that's compatible with X8. And furthermore, does ur phone in Flash state (press and hold power button before connect USB cable, only release it when turned GREEN LED) before flashing the kernel.

And of coz do FULL WIPE again before u install the ROM (MUST be suited with the designated kernel; not all compatible with different kernel, and vice-versa). It's not necessary to install ROM before flashing the kernel, believe me sometimes the data might conflict with the kernel and in some cases seems like the phone brick but it isn't (maybe... like in ur case... maybe)

- I know how to flash rom I have flashed Alfs 06 + GingerDX but now i want THIS rom
I want to inform with user that use ext partition it wont work with alfsv8-cm7 but if you use with nAa11 will work bcoz alfs v8-cm7 not include ext modules in!

Install for GingerJHv5 Linux version:
1.Download Rom and alfs-cm7 or nAa
2.flash kernel
3.Full Wipe data
4.Flash the Rom
5.Flash Google Gapps
6.Reboot and Enjoy
Install for GingerJHv3 for stock kernel:
1.Download the Rom
2.reboot to Xrecoovery
3.flash the Rom
4.Install lib kgsl for stock kernel
5.Full wipe and wipe davik cache
6.Reboot and Enjoy
I confirm it work with stock kernel that i test with my friend phone and it work perfectly!!Try it and Do with your own risk ^^
