with what must i do that???
i tried it also with sshdroid but then i get all kinds of errors
what do i need to type in the commands you posted? a terminal app or something??

i got 3910 with modaco's one and 1400mhz OC.:confused:

Sorry, I like your ROM's look and speed, but I do not like to put the apk myself. I returned to stock, again.

I downloaded and tested AnTutu System Benchmark and the scores are not comparable with the scores by Quadrant.. I get scores about a 900-1000 points higher in AnTutu.

I am not overclocked at the moment, so I cannot post any relevant scores right now.
Anyone on my ROM with overclocking to 1.4GHz, please post your Quadrant results! :)

Also, a new version of my ROM is coming in a few days, first change in it being the upgrade to the new EternityProject kernel!

Also edited the first post, it looks better now :)

I installed your ROM, it's looks great. Only thing I seem to experience is a longer startup time. Also I've got two random reboots in a short amount of time.

Nevertheless, if the reboots stay away now, it's a great rom. Thanks

TakNek, are you overclocking/undervolting?
I experienced random reboots at first aswell, but when I switched off OC/UV the problems were gone.
Also, updating to the new EternityProject v1.5b kernel seems to help.
Now I have OC/UV on, great battery life and no random reboots!
The v1.5b kernel will be included in the next version of the ROM :)

No, I'm not undervolting nor overclocking. For now, it's good as it is. No reboots since this morning. Only thing bothers me is that (among others) google talk 1.3 is impossible to restore from the backup, and i cant find it anywhere to download. The strange thing is that I get google talk messages in the notification bar, but when clicking at it, it does nothing..

The Talk.apk file is in my Google_Apps_Update.rar, found at the end of my first post here.
You can download the .rar file, unrar it, and then push the Talk.apk into /system/app.
Then it will work :)

I can't get it working. In command prompt it says:
# # # adb push C:/app/Talk.apk /system/app
exitadb push C:/app/Talk.apk /system/app
adb: not found
#

- Tried it with \ instead of /, but still no succes
- when i type adb devices, it shows my device, so there is a connection

Edit: it did work out. After typing the first part, where you mount the phone, I needed to type exit one more time. Then I tried to push Talk, and it worked. I think, by the way, your tutorial at the first page needs to be slightly edited: a location on the computer is like this c:\folder\folder\file.com and at the phone it is folder/folder/file.com

v1.5 is online!
Upgraded kernel to v1.5c, switched bootanimation and finally.. a custom theme for my ROM! :)

I love your ROM. Installed 2 days ago Version 1.4.3 and it is really running as i would have expected it from LG :-D
No lags, no app-crashes, just fast and clean!
However, phone is now installed with all my apps and it's a beast! AND: it feels much faster than CM7 nightly :D

chinese character is completely deleted and removed from this rom, you won't be able to see any chinese character text if you install this.

Just would like to ask why is chinese text completely removed ??
this is probably the first rom that has this feature removed.

other than that this rom is very fast%%:D

Probably deleted it on accident when I made other changes to the ROM.. Cannot recall deleting it on purpose. And yes, the ROM is really fast! I'm glad you like it.

yea it is very fast, but when goign to chinese website , all the text are displayed as square boxes.
I hope this can be fix easily on your next release

    Information of the ROM:
    The ROM is superslim.
    Size is about 114Mb for v1.6a, and 113Mb for v1.6b.
    Free RAM at boot: around 250Mb.

    Wipe or No Wipe?
    - When coming from stock ROM/a different custom ROM, use the Wipe version
    - When coming from an earlier version of my ROM, use the No Wipe ROM

    The No Wipe version DOES wipe your /system/ folder, so you'll need to repush the apps you pushed into /system/apps/ in there after doing a No Wipe install!

    How to install the ROM:
    0. Make sure you have CWM, otherwise, install it.
    1. Turn off your device.
    2. Press [Volume Down] + [Power] to boot into recovery
    (3. Wipe data/factory reset) No Wipe version: DON'T DO THIS - Wipe version: Not necessary, but recommended!
    4. Install zip from sdcard >> choose zip from sdcard >> select the ROM.zip file
    5. When done installing, reboot system now

    Extra packages:
    As you will notice, I left out nearly every stock app/widget.
    There are two packages with stock apps & widgets available for this ROM:
    - Stock_LG_Apps.rar, containing LG stock apps & widgets
    - Stock_Google_Apps.rar, containing Google stock apps & widgets
    How to use these packages:
    - Download the attachment of my post, named 'update.zip'
    - Download the package of your choice
    - Unrar the package
    - Pick out the apps & widgets you want extra in the ROM
    - Unzip 'update.zip'
    - Put the .apks of the apps & widgets you want into the ...\update\system\app\ folder
    - Select both the \update\META-INF\ and \update\system\ folders, rightclick, 'Add to archive'
    - Choose type: .zip (NOT .rar!)
    - Zip the file, put it onto your external SD
    - Go into recovery, and choose 'apply update from sdcard' or choose manually through 'install zip from sdcard >> choose zip from sdcard >> update.zip'
    - Wait for it to complete, reboot, and you're done!

    You should first check your date/time. Sometimes with flashing, it goes to the future, making it impossible to download from the market. If this is the problem, set your date/time to the correct date/time and you're fine!

    If that is not the problem, go into CWM, Wipe Data/Factory Reset, Wipe Dalvik, reinstall the ROM and it should be fixed.

    I'm not sure if updating the baseband will fix this problem.

    What do you mean, how to get the Market App?
    I implented the newest version of the Android Market in the ROM, v2.3.6. It should be there.

    Also I updated the update.zip's again, they should work now.

    Finally a stable release!
    There is only a Wipe version. A Wipe Data/Factory Reset is required anyway for a working installation.. So a No Wipe is useless for now.
    Enjoy it, for me it's working like a charm!
