Aokp was based on 4.0.3 system, so that's why it works. 4.0.4 system has newer gpu so it will be a black screen on Roms based on 4.0.4 system

So what could it be on my end? Should I do a full wipe, reflash my rom, then reflash the kernal, then do a logcat? And how, or what is the command for a logcat?
I'm not new to android, but I'm no dev, I know a little about adb and such. I am comfortable doing mostly everything with my linux system and this phone.

Ok. One of two things is happening with 4.0.4.

1. They have a new kernel made for 4.0.4 with newer kgsl.

2. It's egl libs. And if so, I can fix that. I can easily boot a 4.0.4 kernel on a 4.0.3 rom.

i lost twrp after flashing this over aokp 6.3, now whenever i try to reflash recovery it reboots..tried installing again many times and still same results. Now im out of options:crying:

Yeah i dont have playstore lol, i forgot to flash g apps after i flashed aokp, instead i flash your kernal instead and that corrupted the recovery. Anywhere i can get setcpu besides playstore?

    This will only work on 4.0.4 roms!
    (I will make a 4.0.3 version as well)    ​
    Features:
    -Based on 2.34 source code
    -Aroma Installer for Custom OC Options
    -OCable to Max 2.1ghz and Min 192mhz
    -UVed slightly for better battery saving
    -Added a ton of Governors
    -Slightly dimmed capacitive buttons like it should be (2ma)
    -OCed GPU to 300/500mhz
    -Simple I/O Scheduler as default
