You'll need to toggle back for some HC apps though. Keep a copy of each version on your SD card and use the one you want. Reboot needed.

Try it and see if it works for you, keep a backup of original though, just in case ;)

What does this "fingerprint" thing do? I keep seeing it here and there under this thread.

Basically, it makes your device look like a different device when you visit the Market. It can help if you can't see certain apps in Market (assuming you can see them with other devices). It doesn't unlock Market apps in different regions, download and use Market Enabler for that.

Seems to be as if I have an issue with the screen timeout - it's always 30sec, does'nt matter whether I change the settings or not.
Anyone else? Any idea?

I had that issue for the first 3 or 4 boots. I was working on a fix when the problem went away by itself. I even tried flashing again to get the problem back so that I could fix it.

I can't replicate the damned thing now. If you bear with it, you might be lucky and it might disappear. Just make sure you have flashed the boot.img separately, shouldn't be relevant but it is what I had previously done.

Nickerbeli - wonderful rom but one issue - your ip file updates filesystem on flyer - so if i want to restore to nadroid backup of MODACO rom it just goes to boot loop - or blank screen - can you please do a script for reverting back to normal file system please ?

What do you mean with ip file?
A file system is f.e. ext, ext4, fat32 or ntfs. Do you mean that?

Urgently need help ......

With this rim it works great.. however i run into a big problem now...

I left my flyer charging without using it for last 3 days. I went oversea without bringing along. When I come back yesterday, I can't get it running anymore. the charginhg light remain green all the time even i unplug the charging cable.

I try power and down vol button also doesn't work.. Now it totally dead.. can anyone help please.... :(

    What you need:

    If you come from Gingerbread, you have to follow this guide before you flash FlyHoney ROM, otherwise your device won't boot! Installing Honeycomb on your Flyer - the complete guidehttp://android.modaco.com/topic/345950-installing-honeycomb-on-your-flyer-the-complete-guide/
    ​


    Installation:
    • Download FlyHoney ROM and place the zip on your SD card
    • Boot the device in recovery by holding vol-down + power
    • Optional: Go to backups and restore and perform a backup
    • Choose the option "wipe data/factory reset" and confirm
    • Then choose the option "install zip from sdcard", then "choose zip from sdcard" and select the FlyHoney ROM zip file and confirm
    • After flashing, reboot your device






    IMPORTANT:
    If you don't want to have wifi issues and you want to get my custom scripts (speed scripts, ram optimizations, zipalign on boot) and the mail widget working, then you have to flash the boot.img from the ROM zip after you flashed the ROM:
    • After you flashed the ROM, boot in fastboot mode (adb reboot bootloader)
    • extract the boot.img from the ROM zip to the folder where you have the fastboot.exe file
    • Open cmd and switch to that location (where the fastboot file is)
    • Type "fastboot flash boot boot.img" (without "") and press enter. Then you're fine and you can enjoy the rom :)
