I install this ROM few hours ago, it seems OK but so far I had few very strange issues. First, when I install all apps, I'm always using, try to start app "Tiny Flashlight + LED" and phone suddenly restart, but stuck in Samsung Galaxy Note N7000 logo. I pull battery out and put it back, but nothing happened, just logo and won't boot. I did factory reset and start all over again. Maybe it isn't because of mentioned app... Maybe the app was just a trigger for something else that caused crash... I don't know. Anyway, I start to installing apps and do some settings when phone was turn itself off even battery status shows 28%. When I try to turn it on, it won't. I plug charger and it shows battery 0% ?! From 28% to 0% in a second? Then it was very fast (in about 15-20 minutes) charged to about 35% In a meantime, I install all apps I need, and restart phone. After restarting, battery shows me 72% ! More than double charged just because of restart?
Anyone have any idea whats going on?
I follow instructions, did clean install on fully formatted phone. Nothing was left from previous ROM, or user data, or user files... absolutely nothing. In fact I always back up all files to PC and then do a full format when try to install new ROM. Only after everything is set up, I put back my files from PC to phone. Just in case :)

One more thing I found with this ROM too. I try one more KitKat ROM for N7000 and it had same problem - camera. When I start camera my phone restart immediately. Is this some kind of bug, or driver problem or incapability of N7000 to handle KitKat camera? My camera is working perfectly with all older Android version (no matter what ROM - original or custom). I also try some other camera apps from Play Store but had same issue. Anyone know what is going on? Thx!

no problems with camera...this rom is very stable

Yes the ROM is stable, but I had this issue with more than one KitKat ROM, so I ask if someone know why is that happening?
With any other previous version of Android (stock or custom) camera is working fine, but with every KitKat I tried always had that nasty reboot.
So, please, any ideas? :(
Thx!

Hi @georgekg

Have you tried the ROM without the "tiny flashlight + LED" , it does seem to be pointing to the app rather than the ROM which is very stable for other users. Please try without the app and see, thank you.

Shalom and good "snapping" :) john

Thank you for your suggestions! Yes I did try this ROM without any app other than GAPPS. In that case my camera sometimes works sometimes crashes entire system. Sometimes it allow me to take few pictures and then restart my phone. Sometimes works without problems.
When I try to use torch (not the app I mention earlier, but clean ROM without any app installed) it also restart phone. Next time it works fine [emoji53] I just can't figure it out what is going on. Phone turns off when battery is on 32% exactly. That happens every time. I did use Wipe battery statts from advanced menu on SOKIP control (on fully charged battery, wipe battery stats, empty battery to the 0%) and charge it again but still the same problem.
Can this be a possible hardware problem? But with any lower Android version than KitKat everything is OK, so it can't be hardware problem. Or.... really don't know anymore

Hi @georgekg

Sorry suggestion didn't work. I am no expert just suggesting how others have helped me. Strange the jumps in battery % charge, although I have read battery stats not reliable. I do not have the expertise to say if it is h/w or s/w but if you have another battery you would have nothing to lose by trying it. Failing that perhaps doing a logcat for the sokp team may throw up some clues. Sorry I cannot help more.

Shalom and kind regards, john

Thank you jomar_uk,
I already tried another battery. This is my brand new original Samsung battery, bought just a few days ago. Where I can find logcat?

Guys there is no such problem as mentioned above with ROM . you just need a clean install even formats system and use stock kernel. As far as exposed is concerned you need not to update as we are using best stable version n new update is for device specific where there was force closed issue. But if updated no issue.
One more thing if every thing works fine you guys are going to get much improved n stable SOKP VERSION by this weekend. Will keep you updated.
