Search This thread
This is the first of a series of HoneyBee boot animations i am working on.
Sorry for the video quality.

Wallpaper tested on Nexus S and Nexus One. Runs @ 34FPS.
Push the bootanimation.zip to the /system/media folder or data/local directory...depending on what ROM you are using...either one should work.

bootanimation.zip can be downloaded from my blog

Here

UPDATE: 03/05 Version 1.1 Now Available! Small Changes...

Just tried this on my desire and it works perfect.

No need for an update.zip just type the following (assuming you have adb installed)
1) open a command prompt/shell
2) cd into the directory you downloaded the bootanimation.zip file
3) type (without quotes) "adb push bootanimation.zip" data/local"

Viola you have a new boot animation!

Damn. CM7 loads too damn quick! Didn't have enough time to enjoy the Animation! :D

Thanks for the Animation! Goes perfect with the Honeybread theme!

Can I install this through Clockwork Recovery? I don't have adb installed.

    Install RootExplorer on your device.
Put the bootanimation.zip on your SD.
Use RootExplorer to copy bootanimation.zip from /sdcard/ to /system/media/

or depending on your ROM, it may have to go to /data/local/

    Enjoy! ;)
