Hi techfanatic. I know you already made a video on flashing jb 4.2. But the download link i think has fastboot for 64 bit windows only. Can you provide a download link for 32 bit windows as i have an old laptop with me. Please help the poor guy. =)

hmm these links aren't up to date with unlocking/rooting/ect a nexus with 4.2 installed already (the program provided in the links is only upto 4.1.x).

I have a GT-I9250 on 4.2.2 jelly Offical ROM.

I am trying to look for recovery-clockwork-touch-6.0.2.3-maguro.img as i cant seem to download it from clockwork. Also what is the best custom rom for the device which is stable using 4.2.2 jelly bean and what the best way to root the device

I want to go back to stock with bootloader unlocked as it is now. but i can't afford to lose any of my data on my phone.
Do u just use "fastboot -w update image-takju-jop40c.zip" and i won't lose any data?

hi,

I hope not to disturb, i have a GSM GNex i9250 with 4.2.2 Jb. Is it safe to root the phone using the toolkit? or do i have to downgrade to earlier versions like 4.x or 4.1.x?
Thanks!

I have an unlocked galaxy nexus ("yakju", "maguro" (GSM/HSPA+) JDQ39, with wallet). I have rooted it and installed a custom ROM. ClockworkMod Is also installed. I would like to return it to stock without losing ROM and without losing my bootloader. Is this possible? Can I download the stock image from google and flash it like I would any other ROM? I don't mind wiping everything including my SD partition. Thanks.

Hey guys,
So I got a GSM Galaxy Nexus 4.2.2 yakju and it is rooted at the moment. So is it safe to use the odin method and to flash that specific .tar file to unroot my phone???

Thanks!

Needed to buy a replacement phone, decided on the GNex Verizon. Was curious if everything the og poster said is still good to use right now and root my phone. Everything is up to date etc....

Thanks in advance.
