Trying to help :)

Yes dealing with mi3 is kinda diff and bit tuff without sd card.

i had soft bricked the 2 days old phone with cwm recovery and bootloops.
sadly was not able to flash via cwm recovery due to status 7 error.

SO Best method is Hold vol down+power and enter into FAST BOOT mode.

and then download a fastboot rom and flash it through miflash and voila it must work ":)

No it is global version not chinese. Yes as you mentioned u have indian version hence it is Mi3w (Canro). So you should have no problem.

F.Y. I developer version you will need to download google apps installer separately from Mi store.

Stable it should have the google apps.

When don't have enough knowledge, please don't suggest anyone! The links you provided for fastboot ROM are for Chinese MI3 not Indian (See the CN code in build number, Indian will have DMI). Yes, you can use any variant of fastboot ROM but each country have their own fastboot ROM and have different data partitions. So Chinese fastboot ROM will have different data partition when compared to Indian one.
It's recommended to use Indian fastboot ROM for Indian MI3.
Here's the download link for Indian fastboot ROM for MI3:

And please have a look on the link below to know the difference between different fastboot ROM:
http://en.miui.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=28640 and see the second last question.

Its literally the same. I have used Chinese ROM on my mi3, Redmi 1s, note and it is actually better with free songs and side loading themes
