Of Course. BUT i swear using good custom kernel provides a better Performance... Also tweaking scheduler/governour settings will gain a score boost. Even clearing caches and optimizing databases...

Just made 16090 with ViperOneS 3.1.2 (ElementalX v6.4, stock frequencies)
I already did 18511 with MaximusHD @ 1809 Mhz

Seems to be a bit low on ViperOneS

Ya but the thing is this benchmark is crap. You may get higher score but the phone isn't really any faster then it was before also AOSP don't have much running compared to Sense. Well ya changing governors will change the score because some will keep clocks at full speed, some with ramp up the clock quickly and others slowly or not at all. Clearing cache is not a way to make the phone fast but slow it down lol.

User experience is not clearly related to a benchmark score. I personally benchmark it after installed and set up. Then running stable and fluently counts. :)

You really should just stop wasting time doing a benchmark when it as no real meaning when they easy to cheat with kernel "tweaks". Also since you might not know since you not been here long but up about the start of this year AOSP scores was crap compared to Sense yet AOSP wasn't slower.

Edit, mean last year not this year dumb me.

Not sure what you asking there.

If the score difference was based on sense based kernels did not change for some month and AOSP 3.4 kernel got improved continiously.

BTW the thraed was about AnTuTu scores and i just posted how to get a high score. NOT what it has been i the past or what roms should users use generally :) I personal can't get familiar with the sense based ones as AOSP based better meet my needs :)

Well the kernel has always been Sense based in some way but it was the change to the 3.4 based one the scores got better. I'm not saying what rom to use, just like you I'm an AOSP guy but I don't see it as faster even when scores are better on one or the other.
