VPN configuration

Hi,
I was trying to configure a VPN on my S5, but when I try to enter in VPN it asks me something like Password for credentials memory.
What is this?

You need to set a pin password on the phone if you wanna use vpn...

So a fingerprint isnt enough?

Yes true. I tried. Only pin or password. Clear now.
But I really don't understand what is the password it asked me when I had only fingerprint set. Description is something like "insert password for credentials"....
