You need to be unlocked to use a sim other than AT&T, but currently there is no working sim unlock for the HTC One X that I have seen.
i had the same issue with my PRECUT rogers card, turns out the sim wasnt inserted corretly
Maybe u didnt cut it perfect. Try to get a Die cutter. most cellphone unlock stores have them.
The only solution that I think is best is Contacting the Service Provider only they can resolve this issue.
