1. Reboot to recovery.
2. Wipe data/Factory Reset
3. Wipe cache
4. Mounts and Storage > Format System
5. Wipe Dalvik Cache
6. Install MIUI ROM
7. Install Given Kernel
8. Advance > Reboot Recovery
9. Reboot System From New Recovery & Personalize Rom as Normal & ENJOY.

Would you mind sharing me how you ported it to 4.0.4? What ROM base did you use? I can't get it to boot on my S2 when I try to port it from 4.0.3 to 4.0.4. :/
