Now that the initial excitement is worn off, can somebody write a review of few lines on the stability, works, does not work, etc.

To me, it's pretty unstable. There are constant SODs. Say, 3 per day. Besides, some apps don't work properly, like facebook and it's login issues, and the slowdowns on camera and gallery. Lastly, the most annoying bug is the incapacity of the stock dialer to ID your friggin' callers =P Otherwise, the speed and smoothness is quite awesome.

Wipe cache/wipe dalvik and install AlBa ROM again.
Everything will be back...;)

No sod at all here mister after 3 days using AlBa.
For fb, gallery, camera (i can confirm only fb issue) you can use alternative apps.

The only really issue for me is Android updating on every boot.

Cause 200mhz is the default speed in our phone.
Deep sleep working here..

The touch sensitivitiy in repack 1 was far better than repack 2
And in both versions there's a problem.
I can't forward songs using stereo bt and sound quality in Bluetooth is very poor.

Still on the version 1 of this ROM (do not use facebook and always clean out all social networking staff installed into ROMs, other changes introduced in v2 are rather contraversal for me). It works perfectly stable and smooth, batterey life is great (take device from charger in the morning and still have about 40% in the end of day). No issues with caller ID (it depends from cell operator, I think). The only very minor issue is "android is updating" with every reboot, but I do not reboot device so often normally.

Wallpaper bug: changed wallpaper to light grid pro live wallpaper, and then tried switching back to a standard jpeg from gallery. Unfortunately the wallpaper selection box is fixed in the non-scrollable portrait sized shape and the buttons to switch to a scrollable bounding box is gone. Once set, the wallpaper is actually scrollable, but the picture is blown up (zoomed in).

I couldn't do anything to get out of this bug so I went back to GB. :eek:

Dear Viamonte and Vic5870,

I didnt mention it because you can put " settings " shortcut with notification launcher easily... Even you can put shortcuts for your favorite settings like data counter or battery etc. This mod is way better than just having a single settings shortcut...

So no need to " de-flash " !!!

Notifications become quite unreadable though. White text on a light gray background. :(

Dear Friends,

I was also had SODs several times, especially during charging...

No more SODs:

1- Install latest version of setcpu
2- Set lowest speed to 500 mhz instead of 200 mhz
3- Check set on boot...

Yes maybe we may have a little bit less juice but a more stable phone... Hope this helps...

    The uploading zip including S-note and there is no f/c...

    edit:So here the flashable .zip.Including working all new S staff from LP6.Just install via recovery and wipe your dalvik.
