Following these 4 steps will return your phone to factory condition.

If any step failed for you:
  • You probably didn't follow the directions exactly.
  • You probably have a bad USB Cable.
  • You probably have an over loaded USB chipset/hub in your PC. Try another PC.

UnRooting a G2x that is fully stock - Only Rooted

I'm trying to unroot my stock G2x so I can mail it back to T-Mo any ideas on how. The SuperOneClick does not give me the option to unroot.

Thanks in advance!:)

Don't remember the version but there is one of the oneclickroot that only unroots and allows non market apps. Doesn't have unroot method on it.

Many thanks for compiling your other very handy threads into one.

The only snag I ran into was simple user error, I had my sensation and atrix both plugged in and in usb debugging mode when I hit the unroot button o__O

Hi, I just wanted to ask for clarification: I recently bought my g2x a few days ago with stock 2.2, and upgraded to 2.3.3 via the lg update tool. Will this method allow me to downgrade by flashing stock? Sorry if it was asked before..I'm totally new to this and don't want to accidentally brick my g2x by doing something stupid.
