Sense isnt just a theme or a skin. Sense is much more integrated in the Android OS than eg Touchwiz.
You cant immitate the real Sense feeling with a launcher and some other nice Sense clones IMHO.

@OP: Shaky156 is one of the best Android/kernel/Sense Developers out here. Im sure he is able to help you.

Since the Rom.porting is a difficult, can u port the apps at least, Launcher, gallery, calculator, calendar, etc.
This will be easier and will.solve alto of ppl requests

Hmmmm

Well guys , the progress is kindda of slow here since no body is working with me on it .....
I'm still trying with the htc sense 4.1.
System ui errors are killing me ,, I believe the system ui needs to be de/recompiled to fix the errors.
Video is not working and I think libmedia.so and libstagefright.so need to be patched somehow ,,, no clue.
Wireless will work only if libhardware_legacy.so is patched correctly ,,, haven't got success in doing that.

My only question why the hell the system ui errors are not present in JB roms while they are really troublesome in ics roms ?!!!!

Im really sorry that I cant help you in terms of developing/modding. :(

I got no reply from Shaky156, maybe he has some other troubles ... or you could try to cantact him.

But I will try to find and contact more (Sense)developers. Some old Desire devs are really interested I think.
Is this okay for you Oweida? Since I really want the stunning awesomenes of Sense on our superb S3 :)

Here is a very good how-to for noobs due to logcats: CLICK (#4)

Please post the used rom! Best with the dl link, since there are a few different versions ;)
And, if possible, upload it on pastebin please.

Shouldn't we at least switch to 4.1.1 (Sense 4+) before attempting to ask for help? Or is there already one with said base? I suppose the one in the OP is the latest....

    If some of you knows how to fix some of thoses issues, go on and POST Here. And dude. If I SEE somebody with "OMG MY SOUND ISN'T WORKING" I'll instant slay him IRL thru his internet connection. OK? :rolleyes:. This is FAAAAR from a stable release. A lot of bugs must be corrected. But, you can still play with it abit.

    Yeah the rom is working !

    It is super smooth , eye candy, full of temptation :)

    Current Rom Specification :-
    - Based on RUU 2.17.401.2 release-keys.
    - Android 4.0.4 with Sense UI 4.1.
    - Ultra light Rom only 270mb !
    - Multi-language.
    - Deodexed & Zipaligned.
    - SuperSU, Busybox.

    Credits and Thanks goes to:

    - Me :) for bug fixing and testing !

    Installation Tutorial :-
    1- Through your CWM ( Better to be Version 6 ) as any other rom ( I hold NO repressibility if your phone heart stops beating or get infected with Ebola virus !! ).
    2- Before the setup wizard you will get one System UI error message , Don't worry but try to click on it very fast, then you can go through the wizard very smoothly though better to be quick in clicking !.
    3- Enjoy :)

    What Is working :-
    1- SD card ( Internal and external cards and also both are accessible through your PC ).
    2- Sound ( And it's really great ).
    3- Signal and data.
    4- Sensors.
    5- Bluetooth.

    We still having issues with :-

    1- Calls ( you can make calls but you can't recieve any )
    2- Wifi.
    3- Camera.
    4- ? GPS.
    5- Video playback

    Now , what was impossible and difficult to achieve is now possible and already done !!


    We need people to try fixes, we need people to experiment, we need time and all the issues will be solved eventually.


    Believe me, running sense on S3 makes MORE SENSE of the nature of S 3 !!!

    Happy flashing, and I'm really sorry to remove the beta build link but I believe it's already uploaded by someone and the aim is not to test it but rather to try fixing our remaining issues.
