[Recovery] Speedy (Shift) For Clockwork Recovery (WIP)

Me and benice are currently working on creating the clockwork recovery. Once we have the recovery built we will post it up here. This is just to track it here. So once we get root hopefully we can have a recovery ready.

Currently using Koush's method here:

This is my build. Don't know if it works. I have not gotten my shift yet.

Directions:

#Backup - Backup your current recovery

Code:

dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0p21 of=/sdcard/Speedy-recovery-original.img

#Flash - Flash the new recovery

Code:

dd if=/sdcard/Speedy-CW-recovery.img of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p21

#Fix - Restore the recovery if its not working.

Code:

dd if=/sdcard/Speedy-recovery-original.img of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p21

I have a recovery built. Until S-Off there isn't a good way to see if this works. So now its a waiting game.

Who do we have working on Permanent root? Is the S-off going to be basically the same as the G2?

Currently we have g2root and unrevoked looking into our situation if I understand correctly. Not sure about the other question.

I believe that PreludeDrew stated in the IRC that he is working on the recovery and an AOSP ROM.

Awesome! I cant wait to see how stable our phones are and see if there like the G2's getting close to 2.0ghz.

I'm quite skilled in the kernel fuu gotta 1.5 ghz test kern compiled on my computer at the crib
