I have found no info about this phone on the forum and I would like to know if anyone has tried it out yet

It seems to have dual MICRO-SIM support (no regular size SIM)
Early videos that are available on youtube show it has 2100Mah battery, but most chinese eshops now claim it has 2250Mah battery (needs confirmation I guess)
It scores ~27k- 28k Antutu

atm it retails for ~200$ in most chinese eshops, which I believe is very good price for the specs and compared to the competition

One thing I find missing is glonass, but for the price I can't complain

Only sad thing so far, is that there is very limited (closed to zero) information on the net and forums (found some on 4pda) and thus limited Support for custom ROMs etc.
The reason I post this, is to start a discussion about the specific Smartphone :highfive:

I also have this phone. My first impressions are very good. But there are some bad things.

1-st The original launcher is crab. You will need new one.
2-nd You can't acess the developer menu and change android animations or other things, you can just toggle between usb debuging.
3-th some menu glitches in Settings.

Good things.

GPS is running fine.
Very fast on starting programs.
Very good display! I'm amazed by it.

I'll add some more things along the way. I think we need a custom rom without Chinese apps. Can someone build pure android for this device?

User manual? Why? I think it is not needed. Everything about Android is here in this forum or google.com. You can search in google what you need.

My wife receive an Amoi A928w with a lot of chinese apps and no google play store.Tried to install google play services from AnZhi but after installation this don't work. Android 4.2.2, kernel version 3.4.39, build number A928W_V4.0
Pls help me.

I have successfully ported Multi-language Kitkat version on Amoi A928w and this is without any Chinese apps.

Battery life is fine in Multi-language Kit-Kat rom. After many small changes, I have ported multi-language kit-kat successfully. Working perfectly.

Custom Rom

Can anyone just tell me how o flash the Amoi a928w and where to find a multilanguage Rom. Google just linked me to a russian and a chinese site...both not understandable and googletranslator isn't very helpful

Some Russian guy made 4.2 multi language rom. It's working OK. You can Google it. And also there is KitKat Rom with gaps and root from the same guy.

I see this phone was the first octacores releases, now starting sell?

About battery life is good?
And push notifications?

Hi, now the miui Rom is the 5.11.5 and it works wery well for me.
I have a strange question, I buy my A928W with a broken rear camera, I think the previus owner change it because is a 8 Mpx model, does anyone unmounted his phone and know the real model of the camera?
