Stock music player

Hi all,

Stock music player does not read folders and files from external ad card.Is it the normal behaviour or could you please suggest

I also have e988 and all my music is on my SD card and the stock player sees all of it. Check whether your SD card is properly detected by the system and whether you have .nomedia in those folders.

For newbies, try copying all your data card files on your computer, format your memory card in your phone and then put it back.

Check for .nomedia though

Hi,

Thanks for the inputs.music video files were detected earlier from the same sd card.whatever that is detected is still showing up.New folders are not..nomedia is not there.

Hi,
Guess it's not detected because es file explorer was used to transfer to sd card.now it's getting detected when the process is repeated using stock file explorer
