I flashed the update and no wifi. Then I fully wiped and reflashed, still no wifi. May be I had bad download. Will let you know after I give it another go. Really liking what I am seeing from the ROM so far.

EDIT* Redownloaded and same issue. MD5 was fine.

Pulling download for immediate fix.

Is the DL link on the first page the newest one with the fix?

Re: [ROM] [PORT] PACman: Paranoid-AOKP-CM TrueHybrid [Feb 14, version 19.9.1]

For a long while I was only using roms built for our phones. Because I didn't have time to hell raise. Then I realized something. I can run almost any i9100 rom simply by flashing aj's siyah over it since the key layouts for the buttons are built into the kernel . Tested and working lovely. Sooo much easier and faster than the previous ways of hell raising. I tried this rom and I really enjoyed it. Good luck, happy flashing all.

Had a very good run on stock kernel even with it going into kernel panic mode and draining the battery while I was riding.. it's there a need for concern when that happens?

No need for concern. In case you don't already know, that spike in battery use is common during reboots. Dunno why it happens.

AJ Newkirk has released a new version of Siyah rebranded as "AJK". If you have more kernel panics, give that a try and see if it fixes things up for you.

Re: [ROM] [PORT] PACman: Paranoid-AOKP-CM TrueHybrid [Feb 14, version 19.9.1]

Fwiw, I'm seeing a marked improvement in screen on times with the stock cm kernel vs. Siyah/ajk. Granted I've run neither for long enough yet to really tell due to aj's insane release rate, but I'm comfortably hitting close to 4 hours screen on with cm, and I was struggling to get close to 3 with siyah. Same apps, stock or nearly stock settings on both (obviously cm stock settings are pretty different from siyah stock). No noticeable performance difference. Reported deep sleep percentages were in line, given the difference in screen on time. No glaring differences in wake locks.

Gonna keep looking to see if I can track down what's causing the difference...

No it wasn't a reboot spike, my phone went into a download sort of mode and the screen said kernel panic mode and it was in my pocket for a while like that

I had a profile on aj's kernel running over 1 day battery life with three hours plus screen on time or 4-5 hours screen on with around 15 hours battery life

Cool, thanks for the additional confirmation that it's possible. I've seen other posts indicating that as well. Just gonna have to dig into the settings to get it doing that for me!

Depending on if performance or battery is your preference, I was running the battery profile and using sleepy governors for both awake and sleep.. I can help you with duplicating my set up if needed

I'm not complaining, just merely asking if you all think it will happen, but, I've noticed some roms appear to use pie while keeping the status bar active. Not utilizing expanded mode I guess, at least the screen shots appear that way.. will it happen here as well? I like the expanded version of pie but hate losing the status bar to get it

Yes, it is possible to use Pie while keeping the status bar. Turn "Expanded Desktop" off and you get both.

    PACman FAQ

    PIE FAQ

    Q. What is PIE?
    A. PIE is a new way to interact with your notifications. It provides easy gesture based interaction with all your system information without taking up valuable screen space. PIE is what you see in this image.

    Q. How do I access Pie?
    A. Swipe your finger from the pie gravity edge (default is the bottom) toward the center of your screen. While keeping your finger on the screen, drag your finger to the desired button and release to click.

    Q. My PIE doesn't look like the ones in the screenshots. I don't see the Clock or notifications.
    A. Notifications work either through the status bar or PIE. If the status bar is enabled, PIE reverts to just the softkeys. To enable the full PIE experience, enable Expanded Desktop by going to Settings -> System -> Power Menu -> Expanded Desktop (Status bar hidden). Access the power menu and turn Expanded Desktop on.

    Q. How do I change PIE colors?
    A. Go to Settings -> Hybrid Properties -> Interface and change the Navigation bar color.

    Q. Buttons or keyboard rows near the edge of my screen are nonresponsive.
    A. PIE's trigger area overlay is covering the edge of your screen. Change either the trigger area or Pie Gravity in Settings -> System -> Pie Settings.

    Q. I don't like PIE, how do I turn it off?
    A. To disable PIE set Trigger Area to None in Settings -> System -> Pie Settings. Remember to disable Expanded Desktop to turn status bar on again.

    ROM FAQ

Q.Do I need to do a full wipe before installing this ROM?
    A. Unless coming from a previous version of PACman it is highly recommended to do a full wipe before installing. This includes coming from ParanoidAndroid ROMs.

Q.What do the settings in Hybrid Properties do?
    A. ParanoidAndroid has an extensive guide to the settings at this thread: [GUIDE][PARANOIDANDROID] A Complete Compendium on ParanoidPreferences [PA-Settings] Please do not post questions related to PA Settings in this thread, they are not ROM specific and all we'll do is point you to that thread.

    Q.Something isn't working. What do I do?
    A. First, make sure you are running the latest stable version. For i9100 users, make sure you are using the latest Dorimax kernel, for i777 users stick with the CM kernel provided. That should solve half the problems. If it persists, backup data using Titanium and do a full wipe reinstall. If the problem persists, report what it is and what triggers it so the dev can duplicate it.

    We are now Official!

Thanks to @Sblood86 and @bluefa1con the i777 is now officially supported by Pacman! I have updated the OP with @Sblood86 buildbot. We have been having some issues getting it to boot correctly; I'll leave it to him to explain what's up with that though.

    Expect a 4.3 build soon!
    9
Hey y'all... I've been talking with IconRunner and some of the PAC-man devs; got you guys an official build.

Missed the first round of nightlies cause apparently I can't type ;) but rc1 was posted to the pacman server last night.

So far all my random bugs have been resolved running this; I have working dockbar options in landscape (which I didn't before) and my gps is working fine. IconRunner was talking about trying to move this thread from ported development to development so we could maintain the history.

In the meantime if you guys are looking for something current you might want to grab the rc1 :D

    http://www.pacman.basketbuild.com/index.php?dir=main/i777/release/

Cheers and remember to thank IconRunner as I wouldn't have thought to push for official builds (I like nightlies :p ) if I hadn't played with the port first.
