Loaded up the ROM, played around with it. All good.

Rebooted, aaaaaaaaand: soft brick. I'm like, 'what the..?'. I can't get the ***** to turn on. I was coming from RC1 to RC2. Never had issues before.

Odin recognizes it, so I could eventually go back to stock and start all over...unless anyone has any suggestions...?

U don't need to go back to gb
Hold down power while at soft brick and it should boot correctly if not then go to cwm recovery and reflash correctly
Easy peasy :D

Using s- voice zip a few pages back or the one included in rc2? I'm using the zip and everything is 100% functional.

My GPS locks exactly on top of my room, And I say my room because it sits rite on top of my room rather than the whole house!

Hmmm GPS is good for me, another person in the Q&A forum said they're camera didn't work but mines good too on RC2. Great work as usual. Everythings smooth sailing, zero problems!!!

maybe someone can help my dumb a$$ here, I flashed the main Perfection by mistake (was running RC1) so I went thru the whole thing and flashed rc1 then the 15 toggle mod then RC2. This is a small thing, but prior to my accidental flashing tonight my pull down toggles had a smaller font and no bar underneath to signify which were toggled on or off. I could have swore these changed when I flashed the file 15toggle-mod-UCLE2-ONLY-cwm5. But apparently it was something else.

Does anyone have a clue what I'm talking about?


Also I searched and read all the posts, but nothing explained how/if I can change the lock screen wallpaper. I'm guessing you somehow can, but I can't figure out how. I don't want a live wallpaper, just a regular image.

This rom has the highest scoring quadrant score of any ICS ROM I've tried on the LTE Note. My high is 3890 low is 3610 and average is around 3700.

That's the problem: holding down power it will eventually seemingly begin to boot (Galaxy Note splash flashes on, then off), but then does not go past that. I cannot get into cwm recovery...holding down volume rockers while hitting power doesn't do it. It WILL go to download mode if I hold volume - down w/power...that's about all I can do.

I was just wondering if there was some other trick that I haven't seen or heard about.

It never worked for me until I flashed the zip. It would lock up and freeze everything the moment I tried to do a search. So I uninstalled everything from tibu, and flashed the zip. Working fine now.

It's bigger, it's faster, it's Note...

All u had to do was wipe caches i dont see how u soft bricked its just an update....makes no sense

Have updated to R2 several times and love everthing about it appdroid you the man bro! The only issue I continue to have is camera is not working?? It opens but is just black besides the menus and stuff. Cant see anything. Yes I have wiped cache, dalvick, fixed permissions the whole nine. Even went in cleared the camera datea and forced stop to restart still nothing. I havent heard of anyone else experiencing this. But any help would be greatly appreciated. Also I heard of someone else with this issue but cant remember now where it was but my Exchange email is not working it shows unread emails in inbox but doesnt actually show any emails at all just times out while refreshing.. i thought i saw a email.apk or a exchange.apk somewhere that might have been a fix for this if someone has or knows where it is please let me know.

I know it makes no sense. I've flashed a ton of ROMs before, so I'm not a complete moron. The only thing I can think of is: Darkside Cache Wipe. I'd never flashed that before...

Like I said, I was on RC1, cleared cached and flashed Darkside, rebooted. Everything was cool. Played around, went to reboot into recovery to flash ICS Theme and bang....soft-brick, where the only thing I could do was get it to download mode.

I ended up flashing stock via Odin and then getting back. It wasn't as much a pain as I thought: all my stuff was still there: on both internal and external cards...so all music, pics, backups...all good! Didn't take long to get back.

Rc 2 fix USB connection !! :).. but the the tw sgs 3 and svoice doesent work . They freeze and close.. anyone else see that ?

Tw sgs3 works for me but not seeing where all the sgs3 are added from the changelog.ringtones, ui, alarm etc... Even when using Tw sgs3 launcher.
I've tested svoice once. Weather test did come back with weather forecast. That's all I've done.

To get into recovery you hold the volume up and volume down correct? That's what works for me.

    HOW TO INSTALL (ICS LEAK TO ICS OR GB TO ICS)

    1) MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE CWM RECOVERY -->

    2) The ROM Will Wipe Your Data!

    3) MAKE SURE ROM,KERNELS,WIPE ZIPS ARE ALL IN YOUR SD CARD INTERNAL OR EXTERNAL.

    4) REBOOT YOUR PHONE INTO RECOVERY VIA HOLDING POWER + VOLUME UP & DOWN AT THE SAME TIME AND DON`T HOLD IT FOR MORE THEN 5 SECONDS.

    5) WIPE Data/cache if You want! IT always helps!;)

    6) INSTALL ICS Objection ROM WHICH WILL BE ALWAYS UP-TO-DATE WITH LATEST TWEAKS & HACKS.

    **) Wipe Cache & Dalvik Cache!--_--> This will fix reboot hang issue!

    7) REBOOT YOUR PHONE.

    8*) After it Boots First Open Up Superuser and Clear Log!

    9) Go Back IN CWM & Flash RC1! [YOUR PHONE WILL REBOOT IT SELF AFTER ITS DONE FLASHING RC1]

    10) YOU WILL COME ACROSS SAMSUNG LOGO AGAIN HANG TIGHT ITS GONNA TAKE TIME TO SETTLE THINGS INTO THE STRUCTURE, ONCE BOOTED ONTO MAIN SCREEN WAIT FOR COUPLE OF MINUTES BEFORE DOING ANYTHING.

    11) NOW AFTER COUPLE OF MINUTES OPEN THE LAUNCHER & START SETTING UP YOUR STUFF (I.E. MARKET SIGN IN, EMAIL ACCOUNTS) & ONCE SIGNED IN GO TO MARKET & UPDATE ALL THE APPS & DOWNLOAD BUSYBOX. INSTALL THE LATEST BUSYBOX AND OPEN ROM MANAGER, ONCE OPENED SCROLL BELOW TO FIX PERMISSIONS. LET IT FIX PERMISSIONS & REBOOT.


    12) Just sit tight! Reboot!

    13) Done!

    If you had spent some time running Hybrid or Collective Troposphere ICS ROMs then you will be surprised to see the ATT boot animation (though I'm sure that if it's not to your liking then it can be replaced with any other animations that had been posted in different threads :) )
    And another great thing about this ROM is the developer response time - appdroid is actively monitoring the thread and before I had time to load the stock rom there was an update for mms FC that was reported - now that's impressive.

    The only issue that I had observe is phone hanging when trying to restart the phone. Happened two times but on third reboot it was ok. Didn't seem to be reported by anyone else so may be just my phone?

    Oh, and if you are as adventurous as I am - don't try flashing Tablet Mode UI fix - I already did :) That will FC System UI and Launcher. From everything I've read in Hybrid thread I knew that this couldn't work, but just had to try (perhaps the fact that I got tablet UI working really well in Troposphere ROM contributed to the desire to make this attempt)

    Edit - both of the issues listed above are gone, kind of. Did the exact same steps as earlier and this time rebooted fine without hanging. That part is for sure. As for the Tablet mod - it works fine at the DPI above 213. Again, make sure you flash TabUI_all_DPI.zip as this is the one I tested. 320 DPI is too big, but I think 240 should work fine.
    Edit2 - Tablet UI works! Just not with default launcher. I was able to get 213 DPI resolution to work with Go Launcher, but Nova should also work

    If you are a new user like me and cannot post in Development thread then you are welcome to add your impressions here. Other senior contributors are also welcome :)
