What made you choose the M8 over the other flagships?

Hi folks.

I never held an Android phone before, nor iOS. I currently have a Nokia 701 device which lacks probably everything a smartphone has. I'm planning to buy a new phone next week but I didn't think it would be that hard, I can't make up my mind.

I really like this phone specially the design ( I neglect the camera bashing since I rarely use it and will probably use the front-facing camera much more ).

My question is, why did you choose this phone over the Galaxy S5, Xperia Z2, iPhone 5S or any other flagship out there?

I almost went with the G3 but the microphones are not that good recording audio. They clip very quick and have some problems with cancellation. Audio recording on M8 in video is just as good as it was on M7. Been to concerts with M8, baseball games and audio is crystal clear. Nothing worse recording a bunch of video but finding that audio comes out poorly.

We don't want to stifle freedom of speech which is why that thread was made. Too many issues with trolls in phone comparison threads, so there is only one sanctioned by admin.
