I get random reboots sometimes. How do you know it's because of the battery? Is it loose or something? That's what I think may be happening to me. I've dropped my phone more than a couple of times ^^

One thing I did was wrap the top of the battery in a subway transfer. Kept it snug and stopped getting reboots / power offs.

I can confirm that this tends to solve reboot/power off issues. In time, the battery contacts begin to give a bit, causing the battery to have a slight amount of play.

I simply switched my battery to another spare after tweaking the battery contacts with tweezers to pull them out ever so slightly (be gentle!)

Just wanted to give a big THANKS to the Cyanogenmod Team for this amazing beta release. Can't wait to see the stable despite this one being pretty darn stable.
Donations headed your way!

I don't think this Rom is actually by the cm team but merely based on their framework

I just realized that my camera doesn't work with the stock app. Using Camera Zoom FX works fine though. Anyone else with this issue? I tried clearing data on the camera app and restarting the device.

Same here, started getting random reboots, thought it was the rom.

I believe this is from an error relating to the Andromadus kernel source. I'm not sure when the OP kanged it but it looks like that error was still present, which would be creating the random reboots you guys are seeing.

To test, after a reboot (crash), do:

1) su
2) cat /proc/last_kmsg | grep 'kernel BUG'

Paste results here. Also if you could tell me what kernel you're running too.

I have been experience force closes on the Messaging App.

I open it , and it loads the user photos and then closes immediately.
one out of like 12 times, it will stay open.

not sure what that's all aboooooot.

Anyone else have odd market issues? When I tried to *initially* download Antutu, I got a weird error. (Which like an idiot I forgot to screencap.) I reverted to my CM 7.1 Nandrood, and was able to download it. Apps already associated with my Google account download fine.

I used Flinny's latest Andromadus test build (with the separate Kernel in the threead) and the same gapps (20120317 as I recall), and everything works fine.

Did you try downloading antutu from the play store on your computer? Normally, if i ever have issues with the market on my phone, i can still download apps from the official web page.

Don't think it would be of any use as you shouldn't encounter any issues due to a lack of memory.

I think so. I enabled swap for a while and didnt notice any improvement at all.

On another note, anyone using smart keyboard? It has become very laggy and inaccurate on this ROM. Using the stock keyboard or a different one does not have the same issue.

Had tons of apps just close out to the homescreen after a back-press. No messages, and the kill app via back long-press is not checked. Drove me insane enough to go right back to GB lol. Also felt very slow at all times.

Thank you though OP, was fun trying it out! It isn't like it was claimed or meant to be a completed work.

Sorry for the inactivity, i have buy a laptop for cheap and i was configuring a build environment for ICS, who may work with JellyBean too.
I have succeeded to build ICS from scratch and now i'm almost ready for a new release, need to fix and update the 3.0 kernel before any new release, the frame buffer is broken at this moment. and the WI-FI hotspot have been fix. :victory:

A lot of people say that i should make a CM10 build to have more chose..
Like blk_jack have say earlier i'm using some Andromadus commit for my kang.
Well my CM10 build will look a lot like Flinny test build but mine will be more proper, more CM10 related, less

If you would like that i make a CM10 kang. Click on thanks!! :highfive:
    7
Well I'm going back to CM7.
This is not a working rom actually.
Backup functions and Google Account should be INTEGRATED IN the rom, not installed separatelly.
I can't install any working app from the store without gaps and I can't install gaps without an explorer. Stupid. And if I install Titanium Bckp from an apk that does NOT work propelly. Titanium is being shut down every time I run it (after about 30 secconds of using it).
    That sucks!

And Could anyone EXPLAIN me why the rom does not have these features included???
Maybe I don't understand something here.

    greetings

You're acting like a complete dummy who can't figure out the basics of flashing ROMs 101. Seriously, read some of the stickied posts and stop ignoring the advice people have already given you in this thread.

To summarize for you, not that I think you'll read this reply but I might as well give it a go:

    1. CyanogenMod cannot bundle gapps with their ROMs due to Google (licensing restrictions)
    2. You flash gapps through your recovery, just like you do when installing a ROM
    3. You can create a flashable zip from within Titanium Backup that you can flash with your ROM to have TiBu automatically installed w/o market access

Honestly though, I think you really should stick w/ stock. There are things you have to do to install ICS properly (make sure your partitions are ext4, etc) that I simply don't think you're equipped enough to handle. As they say, KISS.

Hey don't let this post die
I'm still working on it ;)

New major change will be :
    -Lord Clockan's kernel
    -Panorama Camera
    -ICS audio with MIC working
and the last but not the least
    -CyanogenMod 9 Boot Animation @ 75FPS

with all the new things from cyanogen git :)

will try OMX integrated before any new release, but if you make pressure for a new release i will do it :)

any tips how to get camera flash working ?

    terminal app > su > chmod 777 /sys/camera_led_status/led_ril_status
