I want to say a few words about the​
LeWa ROM.​
It is fast, smooth, functional, beautifully framed. It stands out from other customized firmwares.
The LeWa ROM creates a team of developers who listened to the comments of users and releasing updates every week.
There is no other firmware at the forum, which could be compared with the LeWa ROM of its consumer parameters.
The LeWa ROM is the best at the moment. I've tried almost all of the firmware that is on the forum and the LeWa ROM is definitely the best.
This is not just changing the look of the firmware. This firmware worked out in detail that would give the maximum of the potential for our device.
With a light heart, I can recommend the LeWa ROM to each user for everyday use.​

LeWa ROM​
(Lewa translated from Chinese means "Funny (or Happy, or Merry) Frog")​

this rom is based on cm7.2​
it's made by chinese dev team,
include ONLY China and English language

How to change language to English​

it will be updated every friday afternoon by the team,you can use the version update to the latest version,usually at 4:00pm,but if you can't use the ota to update,you can go to offical website to download it.

install by cwm,before install you have to wipe cache and data​



From now, 30.07.2012, LeWa ROM comes in two versions: a test (developers edition) and the "stable" version.
Developers version will be published each week on Fridays, "Stable" - once a month.

Mini F.A.Q.
q) can I use a custom Kernel with this Rom
a) Yes you can, but it is not recommended. Lewa update each week and with each update they MAY update the Kernel. If you have a custom kernel you MAY not be able to update through OTA and have to do a full update instead. If you do wish to use a seperate Kernel Skynet28 has found to be stable with this rom

q) can i install extra scripts like Adrenaline
a) Again, yes you can but it is not recommended or necessary. Lewa has built in power management, battery management, cpu control and memory clearing, so any scripts are largely redundant and you will not benefit from updates to the inbuilt Lewa modules.

q) Can i use link2sd type apps with this rom
a) Yes, both link2sd and s2e have been found to work well with this rom.

If you lost money from the phone balance, read this:
Go to Menu -> System setting-> Application -> Messages and doubldisable "Free SMS message service".
This future use China's message service center number that are free only if you are in China.
Numbers, that are used for this future in LeWa: 8618267115045, 8618267194970, 8618757172302

yep i tried it
i asked team cooper ppl but most of ppl busy with miui4 at that time and then i also join them to port reall miui4 and droped this rom as not like much
but its good to use for some days then surely bored so i not realese it

    How to modify China simbols at the lockscreen:​

    lwt file is a simple zip archive file.
    1. Unzip it and lok for lockscreen file.
    2. Unzip lockscreen file and look for face\main.xml file.
    3. Open main.xml file at the Notepad++, for example.
    4. Look for lines like this:
    Code: 
       <DateTime x="260" y="#screen_height-107" color="#FFFFFFFF" size="14" format="M月d日" />
    <DateTime x="260" y="#screen_height-87" color="#FFFFFFFF" size="14" format="EEEE" />
    where "M月d日" is month and day, "EEEE" - day of the week.
    You should edit "M月d日" to "MM.dd.", then you can see at the lockscreen 05.17. - (may, 17)
    That`s all.

    Other china simbols, that you can see at the lockscreen are Charging, BatteryLow, BatteryFull. You can look for this at the same main.xml file.

    5. Save your main.xml file and copy it over existing to the lockscreen\face\
    6. Copy your lockscreen over existing to the lwt file.

    P.S. very convenient to use Total Commander for copying and unpacking operation.
