We're sorry but all that we have available is the original OpenMax DL code that has been available for several years now. There are versions of this for ARM11 and Neon-based cores. Here is the ARM11 bundle:
https://silver.arm.com/browse/OX001
There are no further plans to update these offerings.
We did recently introduce a new library called Ne10 (for both non-Neon and Neon based cores), but these are very low-level functions (more like a math library) that may not help you:

Several ARM partners do provide codec support so your best bet may be to contact someone with a canned solution. Here is a link to our Connected Community pages:

We're sorry we weren't able to assist you further.
Thats because we need omx il update from Qualcomm for msm7227. I dunno why you keep asking ARM for that.
I asked ARM because they already provide OpenMax for ARM11, but that's like 4 years old. All I asked them was to provide a newer code/binaries for ARM11 compatible with ICS. Now they have mentioned that donnot plan to update this.
OK. Now lets turn our heads towards Qualcomm . It isn't gonna hurt asking them also.
Edit:
I don't know if you guys already have this or not, But there is a sample video encoder/decoder from Qualcomm updated for ICS. Kindly check if you haven't already

Ok after using this CM9, here are the bugs I have noticed:
-When someone is calling me, there is ringing sound but the phone shoes screen 3 sec after ringing....it is little bit stupid because I cannot see who is calling me for several seconds,
-Phone app takes also long to hang up call,
I have another one:
- there is no sound on the first 2 seconds of every call
Is it just me?
Hi akshay.s,
as you can see in your attached pdf at point 2.1.5 there are hardware they concerned about and are listed "As of this writing, the solutions provided by this document can only run on Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM7x30, MSM8x55 and MSM8x60 handsets running Android 2.2 through Android 4.0"
We have msm7227 and it isn't listed.
I have another one:
- there is no sound on the first 2 seconds of every call
Is it just me?
And another one, but also I don't know if this is RIL related or Network relatedCrashed applications installed on the SD partition (sd removed)
I checked on one logcat, and I have a "sd removal"
Local roaming really slow on 3G, much more slower than on GB. If someone else is having this issue, I'll parse the logcat
