anybody tried it?
what are the difference in this rom from KPH and KPN?
Yup i've tried it. It's good. Using since the past 24 hrs. No bugs found yet. ;)
The only new things i noticed is:
1. The soft key lights up even if u touch the screen(earlier it would light up only on touching soft key)
2. New keyboard added(Now total of 3 keyboards available)
Can't say much on speed and stability improvement... :D

Its made for India that's the only difference! :)
for eg. this ROM supports Indian languages like Tamil, Malayalam so that you can browse regional language sites and receive sms in regional languages,
Also it has a big list APN's for India ,(APN's are access point used to connect to the internet) other than that there is no difference at all

When I add the md5 files in Odin 4.38, I get the message "Invalid Model Binary". Should I continue? What should I do?

that's normal continue,
the main thing is: It should pass 'md5sum check'
it should look similar to this
Code:
Check MD5 FileName...
MD5 File Name : boot.tar
Open File Name : boot.tar
Check MD5 ...
Tail MD5 : 3961359F237452845C013B5A0D8692A4
Image MD5 : 3961359F237452845C013B5A0D8692A4
Check MD5 ... ok

if you see this, then its completely safe to continue.

THE REAL FIX FOR THE BOOTLOOP:
reboot into RECOVERY > (not download)
wipe cache and data! (or factory reset)...
    DONE!
reboot into the rom that you were trying to use!

takes 20 seconds and no reflashing anything.

    * Goodies for POWER USERS *
Use the custom recovery to flash these zip files included
    • Root
    • Clockworkmod
    • Deodex

hey man i also faced a similar problems i too annoyed with it ,
I searched around and found that some games were specifically made for FORYO! (games like NFS shift) and those games don't run on Gingerbread or have issues with gingerbread os,
this what you can do! search for " NFS shift gingerbread HVGA Galaxy ace" you will definitively find NFS gingerbread version for your Ace :):)
