Sorry for the double post but I couldn't get tapatalk to edit previous post..

As soon as you change clock speed on performance tweaks the minimum clock speed does default to 200MHz, I just noticed I hadn't adjusted mine so I under clocked to 800MHz and it defaults to minimum 200MHz and wouldn't go back to 100MHz no a matter what I tried.

Are you using default kernel?
&What's difference between kalim's stable and cm nightly?

Sent from my Nexus S using XDA App

yes, and my CPU setting is L200mhz ,H1200mhz,deep-idle and i have great battery live almost 2.5 day moderate usage , so the only difference i notes is the nightly is much smoother and the battery live better than kalim's built a little bit so i think they will release the RC version very soon :cool:

Is it possible to change the boot animation to that of the gingerbread days?

Could anyone point me in the right direction?

you can change to whatever you want. Get the boot animation zip you want and put it in /system/media

Hi KalimochoAz

Could I make a request?

When I place my NS in the dock, the BLN just stays on all the time. Was wondering if there can be a way that it shuts off those buttons when sitting in the dock.

Thanks

Heeter

When you're using the GPU the minimum will default to 200mhz. So if you have Force GPU Rendering enabled you will not be able to set the minimum to 100mhz. I believe both 100 and 200 use the same voltage tho, so I don't think it'll make a difference to your battery. I don't have Force GPU enabled and mine sets to 100mhz fine.

I'm very happy with the current kernel but would love to give a try to a kernel with 220mhz bus/gpu overclock...

Is there such a kernel that can be used on cm9 while retaining the current features (398mb of usable ram included :p)

Try the new trinity kernels, there are lots of different verions that are not 'final' but very stable and give the same amount of available ram:

Look for the latest kernels at the end of the thread, not the ones on the website posted there.

Flashed CM9 v4.0 RC0 yesterday and noticed there is 2 'Cesium' alarm tones. Is there a way to get rid of one?

I tried fix permissions and such but it doesn't go away. I know this happens when there is two same tones (in any directory, it seems), but I can't seem to locate two identical files..)

    CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 4.0 (ICS), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
    Code:
    #include <std_disclaimer.h>
    /*

     *
     * I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,

     * you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
     */

    CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

    All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

    Q/A Post

    Q/A:

    I have an extrange green color at boot and when I have automatic brightness setted, what can I do:
    Go to crespo setting and change in gamma the values: ( by default values on google are 0,0,0 but I suggest you to explore the best you like) for me is:
    RED: 50
    GREEN: 46
    BLUE: 46

    How can I do to make a clean install?
    Read that post http://xdaforums.com/showpost.php?p=20485148&postcount=146

    I have 2 times gallery app repeated and is buggy:
    Install again gapps. This happens because you updated and no installed gapps after installing.

    I need to go root with adb, but it doesn't work:
    adb root
    After you can type "adb remount" or simply "adb shell" and you are root.

    How can I do to enable KSM?:
    Settings -> performance -> Memory Management -> Kernel Samepage merging ( KSM )

    I flashed nightly 0520 and noticed there wasn't any Facebook sync/errors out. Anyone else notice that? Just curious.

    Also, kalim, where's 8.0?

    my computer is broken. I'm waiting for a new one in order to prepare a new release. I hope soon we will have that v8.
