i'm trying to install Beanstalk 4.4 on my rooted xperia z but i always get this error

set_metadata_recursive: some changes failed
E:Error in /external_sd/Beanstalk-4.4.255-20140308-yuga.zip
status 7
installation aborted

i have unlocked bootloader

What recovery do you have?

I tried clockwork recovery and twerp recovery the both of them give the same error

Currently I have clockwork recovery

I found this guide, be sure to thank the OP as it has 5* seems pretty extensive.

i tried the solution on the thread now i get status 6 error

Right status 6 means you got a formatting error... The update script is a bit wrong, you probably missed an ; somewhere. Can you send me the updater-script file please and also tell me whether you edited it in Windows or Linux and which text editor you used, e.g. Notepad, Gedit, Notepad++,

now i've installed beanstalk rom on my phone

it seems that the recovery i flashed before i post this thread was not compatible to install kitkat roms
