Monoprice adapter

I went and just ordered a short adapter with a cord so I can use my super long HDMI cables with it and not have to worry about an adapter putting all that stress on the port. Also it is dirt cheap.

Monoprice is awesome! I get all my cables from them, they are top quality, cheap and shipped quickly, what more can you ask for? Monster Cable should be shot for what they charge for their stuff

I can't get audio to play via HDMI for the life of me. I tried two different HDMI cables/adapters, multiple HDMI ports, reboots, etc.

Selective HDMI sound

Is there a way to control where the HDMI sound goes to. Because sometime I have monitors i hook my phone up to and would like to be able to control the sound to come out of the speaker on the phone?

This is sort of on and off topic. Anyway, to these users, what kind of things can be displayed with the HDMI cable? Can you stream things like netflix, youtube, slingplayer, ETC? I currently a TB owner, but so far I have had a lot of issues and we will leave it at that.

I just received my cable from monoprice.com today. hooked it up to the TV and everything worked great. I would suggest buying the cable from there if you are looking for one. Video and sound worked flawlessly.
