[Q] need noob help on s4

hello,

I'm new here, I own an S4 with Kitkat 4.2.2 update. I was on the verge of selling it off due to boring UI and bettery issues until someone suggested to try rooting.

So I need to know from scratch how can I make my phone exciting and fast.

I know nothing about rooting and all high level stuff u guys talk about.

Pls help me guys! (
