OTA ZIP COLLECTION
In this post, i will be maintaining a collection of stock OTAs for various CIDs. Please, if you get an ota file, copy it from the internal memory before you flash and upload it. Please post link to OTA, mention your CID and also the new software number of the OTA. Hopefully with new links being provided by yourselves, we will have an invaluable resource within a few weeks
I will post each link provided below under the relevant CID as and when links are provided.

hello sir, im new in htc. my device is htc_622, can i flash this in cwm? after i flash this i can get an OTA? thanks in advance
Hi
You need to go the othe stock backup thread and find the correct backup for your CID if you are not stock already. Then you can flash the relevant OTA above in stock recovery providing you are stock.

So no one with CID HTC 001 got this OTA yet?
I am stock 401.5, rooted and S-OFF, but no OTA and could not flash manually... Fails at "system/apk/Settings.apk contains unexpected contents"
Only thing I've flashed is the v5 H/K mod, so I don't understand why I can't update. Bummer!
Edit: I just realised, I flashed the hk/bs switcher, which DID include a modified Settings.apk... Ahhh, that must be it.

Cheers mate. I have that but cannot update using it. Since I have EBS and HK sound mod installed, the file checks are failing and the update aborting.
I'm all stock otherwise.

pretty sure you don't need to relock bootloader to apply OTA manually as you will need to be s off to manually apply OTA
OK, I did nothing as such.
I did a dirty flash of 2.22.401.5 system partition, flashed stock recovery, and... voila! Update flashed perfectly
New OS is feeling faster because it's leaving more RAM free (550-650MB compared to 400-480MB on mine), and is running a new video enhancement service.

Ignore the bit about relocking bootloader mate you don't need to do that (just a useless extra step lol)
1, restore stock nand
2, make sure stock recovery is installed and that you have the correct firmware installed
3, put ota on root of external sd and flash via stock recovery (boot into recovery where u get a black screen or one with a red triangle and press volume and up to access the recovery options

As soon as I select any option from the stock recovery menu, I get an "invalid operation" error followed by a reboot. It won't even go as far as letting me choose the OTA file.
I'm completely stock (ROM, Boot, Recovery) and I'm not even rooted. Running 2.22.401.5

Good luck!16I totally fail to understand why people think they can tell other people to get a life instead of waiting for the MM update.
We are all here on XDA because we are interested in mobile phones, interested highly above average. We like what they can do and how they look. Getting a major OS update makes the phone feel like almost a new device. I for one look forward to what MM brings, like Android pay, better app permissions control en hopefully better battery life. I like updates to my device that make it better. Of course I want that as soon as possible, of course I'm eager and very curious. If you couldn't care less about that, what are you doing in this thread and on XDA anyway?
And stop saying we shouldn't expect anything from HTC or be happy with whatever they do. They sell us expensive phones they will support for two years. MM has come out so it's completely logical they bring it to the 2014 HTC One M8. That's not charity from their part, that's their obligation. If you ask me, all brands' support for their products is very poor anyway. Millions of people are walking around with unpatched devices vulnerable to many attacks, that you really can't call old.
Having said all that, that doesn't mean we should all complain or whine about it. But please understand that people's enthousiasm about the coming update leads to disappointment when they don't even make it in the announced 2 weeks since the dec 3rd announcement for North America. Is there any logical reason why there should be any difference in launch dates between parts of the world? This shouldn't be about bugs begin squashed, you don't use one continent as beta testers for the other continent. You should have a beta test group for that.15I personally still don't have a clue why many people in general are so hyped up and even bashing HTC about the updates and why it's not released for all regions at once. we get the update that's fair enough.
HTC should be wise and don't say a single word about updates and an eta. It would be the best for many users. And it would be better for the xda servers because it would contain less spam !

Shortly I will be taking over the Collection of stock backups thread and the awesome work that the good @Mr Hofs has done to date. I plan to move the OTA collection into there so Nand backups and OTA files are in once place
This means that if you need to restore and update on stock and have any issues getting OTA files over the air. everything that you need will be in one place.
