[Request] Typographic Time/Calendar

I was modding my widget locker the other day to change the bottom slide bar, and i was looking for different ideas and i came across "Typophone 4," its a lock screen for a jailbroken iphone 4. I thought the concept of typographic clock and date would make a really good 4x3 or 4x4 widget and i would be appreciative if someone could throw something simple together.

There are still a few kinks... for example, long day names get cut off. But I'll work on it

I get numbers instead of names for month and day, is that a language problem or do I need to change the settings of my date configuration?

would really love to try this but cant install the .apk with appmonster. i get "there is a problem parsing the package"

It's probably because of my font (NeutraFace) but everything is cut off 50 %.

Currently it is using an absolute (pixel based) layout. I need to come up with some formulas to make it screen- and font-independent. Please be patient

very nice. make it play well with 180 and 200 lcd density settings (i.e. option to make huge!) and I'll be a very happy man!
