Th new FIMG kernel update of Marcellusbe that Kyrillos gave is great.:D But it messes up the bootanimation. My bootanimation is angled at 45 degrees maybe. o_O And there is that camera thing too. The buttons are angled. Any new fixes for it?? I mean kernel only??

unreal3000 made an update.zip with a newer openfimg version which fixes the camera and bootanimation being angled, fruit ninja now works and more which he said in his post :)

i update my phone with CM7 Gingerbread with CM v1.3Hv kernel. after that i faced all the problems mentioned above i want to stay to CM Gb so please provide solution to my problem or tweaks that cn resolve my problem please

If your problem is solved then please reply. Because I am getting this never error since many months and haven't been able to solve it. I have tried everything. By everything, I mean EVERYTHING.

it solved most of the force close , and reboot problem when i use to connect my usb to the phone, and also able to transfer my files very well but there are still battery indicator problem which shows incorrect battery level when put on charging.


I think you should first port with zero fill of hill beast which will delete all the previous OS cache files then you port the android version u want it worked for me many times ..........

By everything, it's also include zero fill method :p

Somehow the reason is because of apps which I am sure. Because it starts giving error just in the process of restoration by Titanium backup. I don't want to install 90 apps from market again and losing the app data also because I have 2G connection with limited usage and no Wifi unfortunately for now.

is all your app running on your phone then use app monster to back up your apps as it saves app in apk format so u can physically re install the app without losing it and then ur can re port android version that you want

actually only way left is that u try to find the app because of which your getting such errors re porting os wont be the solution as itz an app related problem just try to remove one app at a time this could at least help you to find bugged app if u have done any tweaks then recheck it

Where is the post for the Marcell s FIMG update.zip that Kyrillos made?? With the colours fixed.

Because I think I did something wrong. The camera buttons are alright now. But the boot animation is still angled. 45 degrees. o_O

    Not 1-2 weeks but 3-4 months... but you know, it's not easy to immigrate in a new country so I'm very busy to prepare my family and myself for the move.

    Some news about Alpha9 :
    - Camera : you can now use a barcode reader or any app that requires camera. It should work.
    - Video recording is working with some restrictions : not using hardware codec but software. Audio is not recorded but may be fixed soon.
