Switched back to Oxygen 2.3.1 just out of curiosity, after some time in ICS.. boy oh boy. It was just made for our phone. Blazing fast...just plainly a better user experience. I am tempted to stick to it.

Hmm i read that a lot, still i doubt if gingerbread is really faster. The transition animations in ics makes it feel slower . Disable all the fancy transitions and there is not any more lag in ics than in gingerbread. A lot is based on feel and not on cold hard figures

Adam, will there ever be a version of Oxygen 3 with on-screen buttons, disabled capacitive buttons (like on MIUI ICS)?

Works great with patch from wildestpixel. I also applied stuff from wildestpixel's Bugless Beast featuring

-Original Nexus S boot animation
-Air Kernel 4.0
-init.d support with wildestpixel's Bugless Beast and my personal voodoo sound/color tweaks
-build.prop tweaks from wildestpixel's Bugless Beast

Flash this right after Oxygen ROM and wildestpixel's patch. You should probably get some of wildestpixel's experiences with this mod. They both are AOSP and stock-like so it should work fine. I didn't own anything here so all credits goes to people above. It works like a charm here on i9020T/A so I'd like to share it to community while waiting for improved ROM from those great devs. :D

Don't use (that) BIGMEM kernel with this ROM.

    Hey everyone :)

To the mods: several members have agreed to make a seperate thread for the ICS version of Oxygen. The other Oxygen thread will stay for the latest Gingerbead release, v2.3.2

    Okay here we go :)

Oxygen 3.0 early builds, (found here)

    What you get:
    - Android 4.0.4, IMM76D
    - Notification Power widget (CM9 style )
    - CPU settings
    - Extended Power menu
    - Rooted
    - Deodexed (99% sure)
    - Fast, smooth and stable
    - T9 Dialer
    - Torch
    - GApps included
    - Battery percentage
    - Long press back to kill
    - Long press volume buttons to track change
    etc...

This is still a early build so more things will be added in future releases.

Something for those who want it.

    • Framework-res recompiled with deep-idle fix for TOP=OFF
    • Music app replaced with Play Music, still works with screen off volume controls to skip tracks.

    This is for build 2.

    Get it from :

feel uncomfortable about the word "whining"

most guys love Oxygen' GB,and want some features that now not including in Oxygen' ICS,so we just make a suggestion, that's all.

Whether to take that depends on developer.
they take that, good for some people, don't,never mind&also good for some people, just that

It's just a speech, but i dunt like people requesting for features...

I think I know the reason why people prefer AOKP toggles to CM's.
CM's toggles have 2 known bugs in ICS: 2G/3G & torch toggles not working at all.
Even though the latest version of CM has managed to fix 2G/3G toggle, there's still no love for torch toggle.

While AOKP toggles have every single thing working well.
Regarding the amount of space they take, we can change them from switches to button.
And regarding the ease of use, we can also make they stick unless we press the settings button.

For those having no idea how AOKP toggles look like, here's a screenshot of Bugless Beast, which has AOKP toggles built in.

Well, too many ROMs has AOKP Toggles, and its not fun.
