I love the grayscale feature but does anyone know how to create a toggle in the notification area to turn it on and off.

I realize that. I mean I'd like to be able to turn on and off the grayscale mode without holding the notification icon, selecting grayscale, turning it off, and then backing back out.
A quick toggle is what I was referring to. Tap the toggle on and off without the theatrics. :)

Just put the settings like this....

Then the toggle will just change to greyscale

@Goldie - I was using restrict CPU performance as well and didn't want to affect that but heck with it. I've turned that off and I'm doing as you suggested. Hopefully battery life won't take a huge hit with the CPU full rein :)

Thanks

It is quite easy to do

I use widgetsoid to add a tasker task to the notification panel to switch between different screen modi

Here you can find an tasker example

I use it also to invert colors or to activate colors even beeing on ultra power saving mode

Widgetsoid is not necessary. Just create a task with the function of toggle then use widget from Tasker.
