not sure. try changing the framework-res.apk thats in the zip to the frame-res.apk thats in your current rom.

Didn't work with AOKP out of the box, got a boot loop. Will try with extracted framework-res later. Thanks again :)

If we can get a decent hybrid version of DaGr8's AOKP rom that would rock :)

I have tried replacing the framework-res.apk with the one from AOKP with no luck unfortunately. It gets stuck at the boot animation.

Same with me. Not sure why it doesn't work, permissions and all were good. I've tried it several different ways, but maybe the fact that I'm doing it all on the phone isn't helping, lol...

try this:

create a nandroid and flash some cm10 ;)

im on sep 5th nightly. everything after that is kinda messed up.

also, a tip for anyone using this:

-go into settings/system/ font size and switch it to large or huge
-go into settings/ststem/ hardware keys and enable custom action
-change home key (long press) to no action since you have the recents button.

Thank you for sharing.

I can report that this patch causes System UI to crash on "Unofficial Liquid Jelly Bean Kang"

But is working with the latest Gubment Cheese.

A word of warning to those who are about to install this: ensure that you have set sf.ro.lcd_density to 213 prior to patching. :)

not sure. i know for sure it will work with cm10.

as for aokp. i decompiled services.jar as well as android.policy.jar to see if i can make the changes on it. if i cant do it there, i have to make the changes before it gets compiled and will have to do more research. still new to this!

    Nice find..

For the record this the same type of method that was used to make tablet ui available at any dpi in very early release of the hybrid ROM thx four bringing this to my attention..

Ofc great things to come based on this
