Which SuperSU version for BMJ9 ??

I have just received my SM-P605, the firmware is P605XXUBMJ9 Android 4.3.
I would like to root it but I have one question: along this thread it is mentioned to use the latest SuperSU: SuperSU/UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.99r4.zip
But there is a newer one: SuperSU/UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.99r5.zip mentioned in the routing procedure for the SM-P605 running KK.
Which one should I use ???

Is the R5 only for KK ??

I didn't upgrade to 4.4.2 as I have seen some people complaining of various problems.

Could someone please confirm the possibility to downgrade from 4.4.2 to 4.3 in case of problems if I do the upgrade

towelroot works on older 4.4.2 releases. Personally i use NEE (P605XXUCNF2) correctly rooted.
isn't possible root 4.4.2 firmwares released after june.

Possible to downgrade to 4.3 with ODIN (without trip KNOW)

Completely confused by your language... The title says "4.3" and then you mention Andriod 4.4.2. Clearly its the latter...you may want to update that, as I'm still looking for either an Australian STOCK ROM of P605 on 4.4+ (which doesnt exist yet on SamMobile), or a rooting method that ACTUALLY WORKS on 4.3... Why the f**k is that not on XDA? Extremely surprising...

I tried to root with towelroot but it said me is unable to work with this tablet. I'm afraid to root it by an other way.
Why some people can root their P605 with towelroot and me no?

Hi

Towelroot works for P605 with kernel made before june 2014. Your kernel is feb 2015 and it's been patched by Samsung.. You need to downgrade to stock rom with kernel made before june 2014 (possibly downgrade your 4.4.2 to 4.3), and then use towelroot to root the device. It's possible to upgrade back to 4.4.2.
