mildwild,

after flashing 3.8 I discovered that my licensed Navitel software had lost activation. Did you changed something in device identification parameters which can be used for license binding?
It was ok in previous versions of rom.
How I can roll back that changes? I dont want to buy software again(

Everybody, who has issues with licensed software after flashing 3.8+ may manually edit build.properties as follows:

Code:
-ro.product.model=MildWild for Desire
-ro.product.brand=htc
-ro.product.name=bravo
+ro.product.model=HTC Desire
+ro.product.brand=htc_wwe
+ro.product.name=htc_bravo

optional (dont know whether it important or not):

Code:
-ro.build.fingerprint=google/passion/passion:2.3.6/GRK39F/189904:user/release-keys
+ro.build.fingerprint=htc_wwe/htc_bravo/bravo:2.3.6/GRK39F/189904:user/release-keys

After a second calibration, my age is 84% So what i Need to set is my new full40 (0.84*1452=1219,68=1219) and 94% as new age. If this is right, what should I do with the fixed full40? Don't understand why you give the formula, if we don't have to use it ?

Or am I doing something wrong ??

Sent from my MildWild for Desire using XDA

You lost a formula there (there are 2 steps); you need to apply the fixed full40 and standard battery age (94) in the LearnPrep tab, reboot and you are set.
I've specified this in my post, but you lost one formula and the settings part... Are you sure you have read the entire post? :p

Just playing round with the new ROM. Having restored all my apps I've noticed that I have 18mb free of internal storage. Under the CM Rom I had 68mb storage - 50mb more.

This makes we wonder if my dalvik is being moved for each app as I expected?

Is there any way to check?

Thanks

Fantastic work, really faster with an excellent battery drain.
I only have a little problem with calculator, I see a strange icon in app drawer (I supose is calculator) and when I open it says "application not found"

ICS cam works fine

Thx

finally got round to upgrading from 3.5 :D, and i like it

did my usual thing of deleting virtually everything i don't need from the zip and putting other apps into system/app. full wipe and flashed first time.

checked the sd-ext option and rebooted, then checked sd-ext as preferred location.

when restoring apps with titanium pro, there is a preference with the app to 'let the system decide' where to restore to. so when doing a batch restore they all go to sd-ext initially.

i much prefer the way applications are handled now. not sure if this has been mentioned, but i believe there are now 2 separate dalvik folders, one on nand for system apps, and the other on sd-ext. it used to be a single dalvik folder on sd-ext.

takes up a little more space on nand overall, but could be a reason why things seem to be a little smoother, needs a little more testing.

the roalex changes to be able to put each app exactly where we want (nand, sd-ext or traditional froyo style apps2sd) give much more control, as opposed to the the previous all-in-one solution. big thanks!

oh and i got UOT to work fine first time, changed battery, icons, status bar, popups and bootanimation. not sure if it makes a difference but i left the 'themechooser' preview box unticked in the file upload tab.

The new calculator has advertising when connected to net, and you have to pay to remove. Is wrong.

Hi. Sorry for question. Just downloading this ROM. My question is - which hboot do you recommend for this ROM? I have slow sd card and need a lot of space for apps so which hboot would give me a lot of space? Thank you and regards

I don't seem to be able to purchase apps on the Play Store with this ROM. I did a full wipe. Any advice? I've also tried clearing Play Store and Framework Data.
