Android 2.3.7 - Cyanogen Mod 7.2.0 RC0 For Galaxy GIO build 2.1
Note: it's experimental compilation of CM7.2, but most functions is working good. Read known bugs before you flash that.
NOTE: This rom is only for advanced users, if you looking for stable rom don't use this rom right now.
Changelog (from RC-0):
- Binaries fixed - before that SH and some other binaries weren't be flashed. Now it should... no, must working ;-)
- Camera fixed - now stock app is working (apply RC-1.1 patch)
- Wifi mac address is always the same - Big thanks for tom3q for his help
Known Bug:
- FM Radio don't work
- Bluetooth have some issues
- GPS don't work
- Some of sensors - Magnetic field, orientation and proximity sensors doesn't works right now (screen is rotating by accelerometer, screen on call doesn't go sleep)
How to Install it?
If you don't have CM7.1 right now, install it from here!
If you have installed CM7.1, just apply this packages on recovery.
Wipe Data? Only if you have any problems (like bootloop or stuck on Samsung logo or ANDROID text longer than 3-4 minutes for the first time)

fyi, my cm 7.2 also have fix fm radio, bluetooth, wifi mac address, camera
i'm not upload it because i want to upload it when all feature working
cz i dont have goot internet connection for upload

for camera, is it using camera app on cm 7.1 RC 3? or using standart cm7 camera?

1. after installing cm mod buuf theme it goes back to 1st boot setup and that gives a error
2. on notification bar its nagging all the time "googlt talk authentication failed" altho i even havent started it, i know my password is right and cant close the service
3. market dosent let me install any app: "task killer" could not be downloaded due to an error - the biggest one of them
havent stumbled upon much more yet... worms works fine(installed apk from sdcard), music plays and it makes calls.. stable enough for me (for now)

Flash latest Clockworkod Recovery:
skip this step if you have latest clockworkmod installed on your phone
- Download latest ClockworkMod Recovery from This thread
- Place it on root of your sdcard
- reboot to recovery mode
- install this cwm from recovery
Flash Cyanogenmod 7 ROM :
- Download and copy the latest CM7 ROM to SD Card
- Reboot to Recovery Mode
- Select install zip from sd card
- Select choose zip from sd card
- Select the new CM7 ROM
- Select Yes - Install update
- Wait till the Installation is finish
- Select reboot system now
- It's not automatically wipe your data. if you want to install fresh rom, you must wipe data before install it!
- If you from stock / custom rom based on rfs filesystem, u must flash ext4-formatter.zip before flash CyanogenMod. link & instruction can fount on This Thread. otherwise you'll stuck on android logo because it cant mount rfs filesystem!
- have problem after upgrade from earlier cyanogenMod? you should wipe your data!!
Install & Enable a2sd Darktremor
- Download dtapps2sd-2.7.5.3-beta04-signed.zip
- Reboot to Recovery mode
- mount your system & data, then Install it
- After install, reboot your phone. it'll make your phone bootloop for 2-3 times
- For Activating it:
- go to terminal emulator and write:
su
a2sd zipalign
a2sd cachesdreset
- if u want use a2sd extream (move data to sd-ext):
a2sd datasd
- go to terminal emulator and write:
Install & Enable Simple2Ext (S2E):
- install it from market. be sure u've install gapps before!
- open s2e, and press menu and choose setting
- checklist the advance mode, extended partitions info, mount as ext4
- DON'T CHANGE READ BUFFER!! IT CAN MAKE YOU PARTITION CORRUPT
- press back, and press menu -> reboot
- if your phone not automatic reboot, u should reboot it manually
- after reboot, open s2e again. u can check whatever u want
- i'm check it all, except Application data (Application data = a2sd extream datasd)
- reboot again
NOTE: if you cant activate S2E, i think your 2nd partition is corrupt. try to repartition it from PC
