Hello guys. It's pretty late that I discovered this thread. I had my HTC one dual bricked 24 hrs ago. What I did was tried to flash Maximus HD rom after installing TWRP(v2.6.0.0). My phone was S-ON .The flashing went successful but my phone hangs at HTC logo. Its then enters into a boot loop.Tried matching my issues with posts earlier but seems to be greek n latin to me. ANy help is really appreciated.

hey guys i have bricked my htc one dual 802d india..i tried the guide for unbricking by sankar24 ....i dont know how to flash the firmware..what i did is i copied the firmware and nandroid backup to external sd card...i flashed firmware using cwm recovery..installation aborted coz it says the zip is (bad)....please give me step by step guide on which recovery to use and how to flash firmware and nandroid backup too..thx in advance

After resurrection with RIFF, the set product name changed to m7cdug while the mid is still pn075100 and now with m7cdug ruu it gives mid error and with m7cdwg it gives signature verification fail. It would be kind if you provide me with your dump.

i have part dump but its not here. i should go home and find it
do resurrect with all ticks then flash cwm recovery in fast boot
then restore original nand back up ( find on google) should work
any way if you didn't succeeded let me now to upload dump for you.

Now I cannot flash any RUU (M7CDUG gives mid error and M7CDWG gives sign. error) I have tried all possible ways. recently i am also unable to flash with custom recovery as it can't mount the system. I am needing the riff backup urgenlty.

I have read all posts here & because there are several 802d phones here that had different getvar & different experiences, they all got mixed up for me & got me confused
My sad story is that I had a problem trying to upgrade to Lollipop but I used the the 7.x.1401.x RUU on my 5.17.720.4
The result was that I got the SIM slots not working & got imei 00000 & no baseband ...etc., even after I flashed the 7.17.720.6, it didn't change a thing.. I tried several solutions but no luck..
Im currently S-off, unlocked, supercid
Now from what i understand after reading your experience & experiences of @hadi207 @sankar24 @naishadh, am I right in concluding that I should do the following to revive my phone:
writecid HTC__038
Relock bootloader
Flash the 2.23.720.2 firmware from rebootRUU ((if you could kindly reupload it))
Unlock bootloader
Flash TWRP recovery from fastboot
Restore TWRP nandroid 2013-10-06--12-06-50.rar ((the one I quoted from you))
Now those steps should restore my radio/baseband/imei... etc right? And get my phone working normally on 2.23.720.2?
Wether its right or wrong, what would be the next steps to upgrade until the latest Lollipop 7.17.720.15 OTA?
I promise you I have read every single post here more several times & really appreciate all the efforts & team work I saw from all of you here, its really amazing, & I don't want to bother you at all but I'm really too confused now from the amount I've read..

Am I right by doing the following:
- Change CID to HTC___038
- Flash from rebootRUU the 2.37.720.1 firmware
- Flash CWM recovery > restore @sankar24 CWM Nandroid Backup 2.37.720.1. zip
- Flash Stock recovery.img found in the 2.37.720.1 Firmware
- Lock bootloader
- Apply 4.22.720.4-2.37.720.1 OTA
EDIT: I have restored my phone! After applying 4.21.1401.3-2.43.1401.1 OTA, I was able to flash the 5.17.720.3 firmware, then I restored the 5.17.720.3 CWM nandroid backup, phone worked !
Then I restored my TWRP nandroid backup, now my phone is back from where I tried to upgrade to Lollipop
Now who of you my 802D-mates have upgraded to Lollipop

Can I just edit the android-info.txt within the OTA zip to the version I want? If not, then how to update to 5.xx.720.x? Because I want to update to Lollipop after that

i recover my phone and now every thing is ok
imei and base band came back
first i disassemble my phone and made jtag and connect to riff box and write 1gig dump to it then write cwm and restore cwm back up 2.37.720.1
but after this still unknown base band and 000000000 imei
then i flash this file to my phone in RUU mode and every thing became ok
know my phone has 2 simcard 1 2g and 1 3g with full functional.
so this project riches its end.

this is my latest steps that i think help to recover my phone
first flashed with this firmware : PN07IMG_M7C_DWG_JB_50_S1_HTCCN_CHS_CT_2.17.1401.2_ Radio_1237.20.28.0614_NV_CT_3.23_001___release_324 898_signed_2.zip - 982.22 MB
2- jtag phone with riff box and read 1gb dump for back up( took about 3hrs time ) then write 1 gb dump 80d china version . ( you skip this step for now)
2-1 get unlock code again from htcdev and unlocked boot loader.( you skip this step for now)
2-2 change cid to 11111111 ( after write dump it changed to htcchn 702).( you skip this step for now)
2-3 write cwm recovery and restore your back up .( till here unknown base band and imei 0000000).
3- cid 11111111
4- reboot in ruu
5 flash this firmware

about this sbl fail. that s not a problem . because it happen also for me but imei came back.
one of my job is repairing mobile s software like Samsung iPhone htc Nokia so i have boxes and skill to do that.
i think the problem is that china RUU damage emmc partitions . according my knowledge in htc the only way is repair partition in jtag mode or write dump in jtag mode . in Samsung there is a pit file which repartition the chip during flash. ( thanks Samsung) .

i suggest you to wait little more
user naishadh also have breaked phone 2.23.720.2 but with s on .so chance for him/her is more than 70% to make the phone alive with out jtag
and for you les than 15% ( better than zero).
as son as he/she make cwm back up i will write it to my phone and catch that 316mb ota update for he/she and you.
if after write ota still no base band then i will give you the procedure and require files for j -tag operation
