OK I'll add Arabic to it and post here...

Wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow
Thanks dear.........waiting eagerly .......

:)Best Wishes:)
Salmin

Just some Note:

The official Arabic Rom supports the following:

1)- Arabic ( Jordan )
2)- Arabic ( Lebanon )
3)- Arabic ( Qatar )
4)- Arabic ( Bahrain )
5)- Arabic ( Kuwait )

and in the Gingerbread Keyboard there is:

1)- Arabic ( Egypt )

Can this be another problem the Arabic is not shown with me or does not have any link to it???????

Dear Yahya,

How r u?

The keyboard works fine except for the following 2 bugs;

1)- When you long press on the back-button to delete the letter while creating sms, the letters on the key board turned to capital letter like if you r holding the shift button.

2)- When i press the (123?) button then typing the numbers & then pressing the space-bar, then again pressing the (123?) button(long press), the (123?) button turns to space-bar button like if you r pressing the space bar.

Hope the above can be solved.

Appreciate your kind reply

Regards
Salmin

Sorry I was busy yesterday...

I am only adding the Arabic layout and dictionary. So any issues not related to the layout or dictionary is to be addressed by the original developer (Steven Lin or hotaru).

Try the folowing:
1) Go to Settings.
2) Language & keyboards
3) Check "Gingerbread keyboard"
4) Open Gingerbread keyboard settings from the same screen.
5) Go to Input languages
6) Check Arabic and any other languages you want to use (I use English(US))

7) Go to any application that requires text entry (for example create a new SMS)
8) Long press on the text area until you see a list with "Input method"
9) Select "Gingerbread keyboard".

Let me know how it goes...

When you open an Arabic website, can you see Arabic text?

And when you opened "Input languages" in the keyboard settings, was there Arabic in the list?

If yes to both, can you post a screenshot?

Update: I've added to the attachments Moo-gbkb-ar.apk . It is an Arabized version with dictionary for the "Keyboard from Android 2.3" version 1.0.11 by Steven Lin so the credit goes to him for the original application (here is a link to the original application in the Market: https://market.android.com/details?id=com.moo.android.inputmethod.latin.free)

Moo-gbkb-ar.apk resolves a FC issue on Desire HD...

This is an Arabic/English Keyboard based on hotaru's post here:
    http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=875202

The keyboard has a big Arabic dictionary.

The first file has the source files for the xml keyboard layouts and binary dictionary and Arabized strings. It is only for developers and you don't need it if you just want to run the app.

The second file is the APK file that can be installed directly.

If your phone is not already Arabized this will not Arabize it. It only makes it possible to enter Arabic characters.

Is your N1 rooted? and what is your Android version (look it up in Settings=> About phone)

The attached zip file is for developers who would like to use the xml source or the dictionary in other apps. It is not for end users.

Hello Salmin I meant aahhww when I asked for the screenshot.

Your problem, I think, is not from the Arabic language. I think it is from the original application.
