Sorry for your bad luck but imagining that made me literally LOL.

Just wanted to say thanks again for the kernel but I think 46b is giving me worse battery life than 43.

Im getting even better battery life with a46g over a23, before I was going at 95% in 8hrs idle, now it's squeezing out 96% in 8hrs idle

Seems the phones that don't like 1836 don't like the UV any better.
I'll have to return to previous levels for the 1728 phones.
But instead of using two sets of voltages I will use the voltages that are stable for you as base voltages, then add voltage control for the others to lower them from there.

Sorry I can't anticipate Selma Blair visiting your phones if the symptoms don't show themselves here. :/

wifi is glitchy , it stops working shortly after connecting and then i reset it and it keeps working a long time. When it stops working it still shows as connected. Also wifi calling stopped working. I'm on 46g. Does wifi calling use some port or it somehow gets around port forwarding? I want to rule out my router.

Update:

I wiped cache and dalvik
Then flashed rom
Reboot system, let it sit
Then rebooted
cleared cache and dalvik
flashed kernel 45b, trinity
rebooted system
Wifi works and wifi calling works.
Wifi seems pretty stable so far.

It seems like everytime I flash the kernel my wifi gets quirky
but if I follow the steps above and flash rom first and clear ****
wifi comes back without a problem.

Wif is the only issue I keep running into in this rom/kernel combination.

Morfic, Im going to go down the list trying the different kernels to see if its recognized on my mac. Is there a specific order in which to go? From 19 (which we know works) up or from 43 down?

Edit: nevermind I only have 34,36, and 37 so i guess it doesnt matter

Results: Ok, so the only kernels that my mac recognizes are 19 and 34. The ones that dont get recognized are 36, 37, 43, 46

If you need me to test more let me know. I'm sure it's not a high priority since I'm sure most use Windows pc but I'll test anything you need.

Thanks morfic, the kernels with OC to 1836 didn't boot for , or caused constant force close , all I can say is that I am running 46g and these colors are amazing

Can you get me there following off of 34 and 46:

cat /proc/filesystems

Guessing at something mac related.
I'll be flying blind here.

Sure, are these files in a particular folder in my phone or do I need to do something in order to get these?

Btw, congrats on the nexus 7 kernel. Kicking ass!

Just do that on terminal and tell terminal to email it, email both to me.

/ is the root of your filesystem, those are absolute paths. Can't Miss them

Idk might just be me but the whites are whiter and the colors look a little truer to life

I compared all the vibrant colors like red, blue, green, orange, yellow, pink and I don't see a difference with my sprint s3. They're all still saturated on both phones.

so after a day would you say this kernel is 100% stable? what rom are you pairing it with?

It is stable but I dont think its not a significant enough advantage for me to stick with it. I noticed too in my email app it didnt scroll smoothly compared to Freegs3 stock. I went back and forth a few times and tested scrolling, games, how fast app opens and in the end didnt see much of a huge different for my usage so just gonna stick with stock Freegs3 rom. This kernel got great quadrant and nenamark2 scores though. Battery life I couldnt really compare as I was playing with the phone alot during my own testing so there wasnt a lot of standby times. Also I use a spare battery so wasnt too concerned about the battery life.

So will we see a Trinity kernel for JB/cm10?

sent from Galaxy S3 with Jellybeans using tapatalk 2

    Will you? yes
    When? don't know yet.
    Let CM10 mature.

Morfic any chance we can get a CM10.1 kernel? Or do you no longer own this device?

I was going to let GideonX get comfy on VZW build and then help him with tmo, but since I am on Carbon ROM (liquid fork after a split of the team, majority of devs are on Carbon) right now, I'll be building something off of cm source.
    I'm on sgs3 since I sold my N4 to get a note2.
Even when I run note 2, I'll be building for sgs3.
Based on how gideonx likes building for tmo I'll likely focus on tw or build both.

Just pulled source last night and did a test build. So it'll be a while before the cm kernel goes live.
