I've been using Franco kernel for a while but it seems like he doesn't give a crap about the new Nexus 7. Any kernels that are actually supported and good?

As long as everything works fine I don't see why a kernel would need to be updated frequently?

I've mostly been using ElementalX 2.6 and have had the best results and support. And importantly, there's not a lot of BS posts.

I attempted elementalx 2.6 amd 2.4 on CM11 however, I was getting very bad lag even with stock settings in elementalx.
I flashes to stock 4.2.2 and tried elementalx 2.6, it now runs great with no issues on stock settings.
I just reinstalled and used oc settings and gc oc settings etc still working well so far.
Also the elementalx kernel works great for otg and broadband usb dongles.
