1. Can you tell me what was 'fixed' in these files?

Contacts.apk --> Will it allow entering birthdays&events for contacts?
Calendar.apk --> Will it display birthdays&events (or allow a local calendar that will do that)?
Currently on my G4S I'm using 'Contact Editor Free' to add birthdays&events in contacts now. And 'aCalendar' will show the birthdays and events, however stock Calendar (and other 3rd party apps that depend on it) will not.

libcameracustom.so --> What was fixed in the camera?

gps.conf --> Will gps reception be enhanced?
--> Will updates for EPO files download automatically?
I'm using MT GPS EPO Fix and Faster GPS from playstore now.

2. Can these files be used without flashing the phone?
So, if I would rename stock calendar and contacts from .apk to .bak,
then place contacts.apk, calendar.apk, gps.conf and libcameracustom.so in the specified directories,
then wipe /cache an Dalvik cache. Could they work?
