[Q] internal speaker is turned off on NC

Few days back my nephew was playing game on my NC and he accidentally did something that turned off the internal speaker of my NC.
I am using CM 7.1.0, I have tried latest nightly too. But it simply seems to be some setting that he did updated.
But I am not able to find out. Though the headphones works fine on device.

This may seem a foolish question, but i have gone through all the settings and could not get it to work.

Any help will be appreciated.

Pull up the notification bar... click on the speaker on the right a time or two... you should see icon change each time...

If that doesn't work... try using DAC settings and Internal speaker settings in Nook Color Tweaks (market dl by Dal)

tried all this .. nothing worked.

If i do a fresh install instead of update of CM7.1.0 will that wipe out the already installed apps ?
