Enable bootanimation

My current ROM won't run any custom bootanimations. Does anyone know of a way to enable the feature?

if i want back my htc boot animation then how can i ?

Here's the file....it contains 2 zip files...one with ~200 kb is bootup file and other ~400 kb is bootdown file....
Rename bootup file to bootanimation.zip and bootdown to downanimation.zip
Place them in /system/customize/resource using root explorer
Enjoy :)

These are not my work, I take no credit for creating them the only credit I'll take is providing them to you. Flashable zips attached at bottom.
    Coin.gif
    bootanim44.gif
    bootanim17.gif

    Instructions:
Flash in CWM Recovery or Rom Manager.

Is it safe to delete the TMobile bootanimation zip? I copied the coin bootanimation zip correctly but the TMobile animation still runs on boot...
Yes its safe, I'll post a flashable zip later after I get off work. I also have a few more boot animations that I got from UOT Kitchen, I'll be posting them as well.

Do I NEED to be S-OFF for bootanimations to work? By deleting the TMobile animation I unknowingly got the old Android animation I actually wanted but it would be nice to try a few others out now and then.
    S-off no, root yes.
