I want to switch to the Google Now launcher but would like to avoid having to reorganize all my apps. Is there any way to transfer over the layout?
yeah that's very easy man
first go and clear the data and cache of Google search app.
then install apk which you have already downloaded earlier of of now launcher.
open the launcher by clicking home button.
then you will get a prompt to port all the icons to from your last launcher.
