Easiest unlock ever (works on i780 and Omnia):
1) Download attached ZIP file
2) copy all three .lnk files to your PPC
3) run Lock.lnk
4) enter valid MCC/MNC of any carrier (I used my "real" SIMLock carrier ID, list: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mobile_Network_Code ; eg. 26001 for Poland, Plus)
5) As NCK, enter 12345678
6) tap OK (it should tell that SIMLock enabled)
7) run Status.lnk to see if its locked
8) run Unlock.lnk
9) enter code entered in point 5 (12345678)
10) voila :)

Alternative method, works on i780, no copying of anything required:
- in 3), instead of launching .lnk, type the following code in the Phone app: *7465625*638*#
- in 7), instead of launching .lnk, type the following code in the Phone app: *#7465625#
- in 8), instead of launching .lnk, type the following code in the Phone app: #7465625*638*#

If anyone wants me to dig for the codes for Omnia, please send me DialParserGSM.dll file from Omnia ROM dump...

I think it should work for all Samsung devices, since the device can have only one lock of given type at one time, namely it is enough to overwrite the existing lock with a new one (actually, its stupid that they left the simlocking tool in ROM...)

Same here, when entering any mcc/MNC other than the good one I get a "You entered Incorrect MCC/MNC",
when entering the real SFR 20810 I get "Fail to Set Locking status"

Hi, same for me too as spartakus (Omnia). Carier ID: 21620.
It would be fine to have the right code. Thanks.

Thanks for this !!

I made it ON MY OMNIA and it tells me that the phone is unlocked.

I will say that you must enter your PIN code of your SIM card before !
If you don't it doesn't work

    isurues ,

    (HKCU = Hotkey Current User)

you nedd a Registry Editor: google for < PHM Registry Editor Version 0.70 > (sorry, my link is not yet accepted)
Copy the Cab to your device, install and open it, then follow the description.

Here for better understanding is my completed version:

Go to the registry, HKCU\System\State\PHONE, and write down (or remember) the first 6 digits of the value of the IMSI entry. - Close the Editor...

    1. type *7465625*638*# to set (use phonepad)
    2. type the first 6 digits of the value of the IMSI entry in the field
    3. type your new NCK (12345678) or any 8 digits (00000000), then OK
    3. type *#7465625# to check your lock (only Network lock still enabled)
    4. disable Network Lock
    5. type #7465625*638*# and type your NCK (12345678), follows "success" message
    6. Enjoy !
in case you don´t believe it and want to make sure type *#7465625# again!

successfully tested with 2 Omnias and Vodafone DE und Telecom UK - simcards.

Hi, I'm new to Omnia and to this forum i'm having omnia i900 which i got as gift frm my frnd who lives in UK and the phone is made in Korea having Windows 6.1, and i'm using it in India since 3 years, on that time it was locked (Network Lock) and i gave it to some local service center to Unlock it and it was good after that. Now, 4 days before i was upgraded it to windows 6.5 (cooked ROM) but it is again asking me for lock code (Network Lock). What should i have to do???? kindly help me in this regards.......
