My bluetooth drains 30% of my battery if I leave it on after the 19th updated. Used to be able to leave it on all day with no problems. Any thoughts?

Guthrie, OK
My thoughts would be to flash the new 30th update and see if that works. I can't remember if there were any Bluetooth commits made with the latest build. Also did you check for any wake locks?

My battery stats always claim that Bluetooth uses ~30% when using CM7, but my battery life does not seem any shorter than other roms. I think you should ignore the battery stats and judge based on total battery life.

This update is running super smooth undervolted by 100mv and underclocked to 768. And don't have a fc on tapatalk like I did with the last build.

Can I just install it over the 3-19 build or do I need to do a wipe of everything? Will cache and dalvik wipe be good enough?

Just installed the cm7.2 rc1 from the cm site directly. I am loving it so far except for 1 major issue. I am getting an error with the native hotspots, and every version of wifi tether I have found. I have tried fixing permissions wiping dalvik and cache. Super user is working fine so that is not the issue. Next step is to reflash, but hoping I am just missing something really stupid.

Edit: flashed the tiamat kernel and it fixed it. Hope my phone battery likes his kernel too lol

2nd Edit:
Spoke too soon, native worked once, so I tried wifi tether, the one that used to work for me on past builds gave errors, the yellow one worked but no internet. Now native gives me no internet. This is driving me nuts. The only reason I did not want to use the native is because I like to see my speeds. I have never had this issue before any help would be great.

    Hello everyone:

I've used quite a few of the ROMs on here, so I thought I'd give back what I can.

Because CM has quit putting out nightlies for us, I used lithid's CMCompiler to build the latest CM7 ROM for our Evos.

    Some caveats to these builds:

    - I have done no actual coding. I just took the time to download, compile, and make it available to y'all. I take no credit for any of the work.
    - Standard disclaimers apply - not my fault for anything that might happen to your phone.
    - You can ask me to troubleshoot, and I will try to help, but I do not claim any expertise other than I've been doing this for a while.

    CHANGELOG

    Latest:

    8APR Build - MD5: 203881d4d4bca1b769cee2f4d79bd704

    Older:
    30MAR Build - MD5: df49b13524f38d709557dba97bf44f88
    19MAR Build - MD5: 07cb2c2b9b979f8224d00711c403e672
    17MAR Build - MD5: 74811686f830c11e4025186e4073ff03
    8MAR Build - MD5: c9c35e5e3669b8bb4d3714e0d75b85e7
    20FEB Build - MD5: 0b79812a55f2c5f0e58a3b7b715831a8
    18FEB Build - MD5: 903cb8548e74d9c851f9e0f74bf0c039
    12FEB Build - MD5: 9fcc9e2c3a2f6bfae2d97721967f8f88
    4FEB Build - MD5: 419ec786cc23b32dc1c0ac10bde2aa8a

If you have a build older than the 4th I can get you the md5 if you need it. Otherwise - upgrade it! =)

EDIT: I've been drinking a little bit so I'm gonna toot my own horn:

this is fastest, smoothest, most efficient version of CM I've ever flashed and I've been using for over a year and half. GPS locks in seconds, battery will last 24 hours on light-medium usage, and 4G is flawless. The only thing that I haven't been able to test is bluetooth but as far as I can tell CM has always been a little wonky with that so take it or leave it. :) #hahawoo

EDIT2: I will update this ROM every few days and update this post with the latest.

    EDIT3: BLUETOOTH IS ****ING AWESOME

    on hold

Hey guys, I'll be letting this go now that CM is building their own nightlies again. No need to close the thread, but I won't be updating with new builds unless their build server goes down again.

It's been a great time, glad I was able to help everyone scratch that itch to get the newest and shiniest!

    Go get the good stuff

Latest build is up. Go get it.

Thanks to every single one of you. Mediafire is telling me I have more than 4000 downloads between the 4th and today. Mind = blown.
